I love this mixer. I use a much larger, commercial mixer at a bakery, so Im familiar with spiral mixers. Having one at home is a game changer. I have a regular stand mixer that never satisfied me with its weak mixing action and weak gluten development. With the vevor mixer, though, my dough comes out super smooth and elastic. So far, Ive been making pizza dough, rye bread for sandwiches, crunchy yet soft bolillo rolls for tortas ahogadas, and Mexican conchas. The best part, because the gluten develops so much better with this mixer than it would if I used my stand mixer, everything proofs with gusto because the dough has the elasticity and strength to hold up.Cleaning can be a bit of a hassle, but its not as difficult as some may make it seem. I bought some Steramine sanitizer tablets and dissolved half a tablet in a spray bottle. After making my dough, I spray the inside of the bowl and scrub with a small nylon brush (the kind you use for scrubbing dishes), and then wipe with a paper towel. Then a final spray with steramine and allow it to air dry for the sanitizer to do its work (it needs to air dry in order to actually sanitize).Really my biggest issue with it is the lack of a speed adjustment or a reverse speed for backing up the bowl when removing your dough. I have to manually spin the bowl by hand and I hope that doesnt cause any damage. Also the timer knob keeps falling off because its loosely held on, on my mixer.

If you're serious about making high hydration pizza dough in large quantities, I highly recommend this mixer.

Follow manufacturer instructions for maximum dough to mix so you are sure not to be too hard on mixer. One batch is 6 loaves (pictured) for this 20qt model. This machine is an amazing deal for $1050 includes tax and delivery. All food contact surfaces are stainless steel, comes with full grinder attachments for the hub. 1100kw of power, gear driven, safety features, etc. Machine is heavy,185 lbs (as it should be) in well packaged wooden crate. This machine will catapult my small business tremendously. I’ve been mixing for 44 years and bought my fair share of mixers over the years, and this is by far the best deal I’ve had. Only mixed 4 batches so far with no hic-ups and appears mechanically sound. Was weary since made in China, let’s hope it lasts.

The packaging is a bit crude but it keeps the mixer safe. It does come in a small crate and the packaging is plywood. Need some tools to unbox it. The is a slight plastic smell apparent when you first remove the plastic cover. It's probably from the grease that's used to keep the gears lubricated. But after a week it was all gone. I tested it a few times already. It functions well. Just like advertised. Does the same thing all the expensive brand mixers do. Due to the size of the mixer pan, you have to make at least 1000 grams of flour for it to be able to mix properly. I tested with 500 grams and it wasn't enough for the mixer to do its job. I must say I am happy I got this. It is heavy so you need something sturdy to support it.

I have used this dough mixer now for making my bread for the last two years or so and this mixture is very well made extremely heavy duty and mixes bread, dough or pizza dough very well. I am able to mix about 8 pounds of bread dough in one go, which allows me to make more bread than I need and then the rest I can put in the freezer. This way I need to make my bread mix less frequently. Please note that the mixing ball and and arm does not come off for cleaning so just pour a little water into the bowl and washing place. One improvement that would make a big difference would be to include a ball scraper attached today main metal, casting as I often find the necessity to scrape the dry unmixed flour from the bottom of the bowl.Otherwise, I would have given this product a five star rating.

The head doesn't lift out of the bowl making it a little harder to get the dough out but I knew this already before I bought the product so I'm not counting it a product flaw, just more of a learning.

Ordered the 7.3qt mixer and unpacked the heavy box. Plugged it in, power light is on but mixer does nothing. Called technical support at Amazon and they were useless. Vevor was as well. Amazon sent me an 2nd mixer and the same issue. Power, safety lid closed and it does not operate. Complete waste of my time and effort. I will spend the extra money and get a higher quality mixer that may actually work.

We have several different mixer before, Kitchen add is the weaker one, easy burn out the motor. Bosch is a good one, my wife still use it depend on the what to make. VEVOR Commercial Food Mixer, 7.3Qt is powerful. and mix very well. Only thing we don't like it is; it can't take apart for cleaning. Our experience with the shipment wasn't very well. It can be come with well packaging, it may come with poor just paper packaging. We order this mixer and deal with good amazon service few times to get the damage fix and problems solved, it’s a long story. but anyway, This is a very good mixer. if you are doing sourdough bread or Chinese steam beard, this mixer is a perfect helper. just don't over mix your dough, you will like the great help from this mixer.
