The online description says it’s a 40# mixer with the capability to do 30# of meat. But the nameplate on the machine says 20#’s of meat maximum. It looks like it would hold only 10#’s comfortably, 1/3 of the advertised capacity.

Advertised as a 40 pound mixer and a 30 pound max mixing weight. Received the product and the label says its a 20 pound mixer. I assume it won't even mix that much at one time. Very small mixing tub for even 20 pounds.

Received mixer opened the box and wow the top for the mixer was used so I kindly done a return and brought one elsewhere

This unit is very small. Will not hold 40 lbs of meat. Maybe if the meat was made of lead. Maybe 15lbs tops. The quality is good but our 25lb batch would no way fit. Comparable to other 20lb mixers at half the price.Look elsewhere.
