This tool removed a completely stripped and rounded 13MM 12PT Axle Bearing to Knuckle bolt on a rusty Jeep WJ that is 24 years old. It bit in and the wrench traveled a bit as it was biting into the bolt, then it stopped and got solid, I pulled it quite a bit more with the breaker bar and the bolt released. There was so much pressure on the hardened bolt that it could have broken but it didn't. The Vevor tool worked and did not break. There was no noticeable marring or damage to the Vevor removal tool. The bolt obviously needed to be replaced.I was torn between spending $200 on the Rocket Socket set or this Vevor set that had a 2 week wait and did not have the reputation of the other choice. I have in the past purchased other Vevor products and they were OK and I had time so I waited and bought this set. Glad I did!

I ran into difficulty with the M6 rivnut turning on my 2012 Mercedes C300. Two rivnuts holds the bolts that mounts the bumper on the top near the headlights. Prying the bolt up did not work. I tried a different set, but the sizes did not work. I then purchased this set. The OD of the rivnut is 9mm. This set has more sockets providing a range. The 9.2mm socket was small and snug enough that I was able to put it on the rivnut and hold it in place with a 1/4" universal swivel and an extension. I had to loosen the headlight to gain few more mm of space. I then turned the bolt to remove. The socket bit held the rivnut in place. The bolt opened. I then reversed the process to loosen and remove the socket. The rivnut is usable. So, I tightened it with a longer 6mm bolt, a nut and few washers so that it would not turn again.PS: Please be careful following YouTube videos to remove the turning top bumper bolts. Chances are, the pieces will be damaged, and fixing it like the original assembly would be a very expensive repair.
