Great unit! I've made maybe 100 gallons so far and it's still working like a champ. Has easily paid for itself. Followed advice of another buyer. Run for about 3.5 hours so that there's a small volume of water left. Makes it easier to clean. I bought a mechanical timer for about $10, and it works great. For cleaning, different from the directions, I fill it almost to the top (getting all the deposits) and use 4 tbsp of citric acid. I bought a squirt bottle for keeping the very top free of deposits (works great). We use filtered water so that the deposits are not too bad. Agree with many other buyers - directions are lousy but it's not hard to figure things out.

I’ve only used this distiller a few times, but so far, it works well and has been worth the investment!Pros:The machine does its job well and consistently produces good-quality distilled water. I’ve been using it for my plants and humidifier, and it’s been perfect for that. It’s not completely silent, but the noise is just a fan sound, so it doesn’t bother me much. The cost savings compared to constantly buying distilled water make this totally worth it.Cons:It’s a bit large for a countertop, so if you’re short on space, it might not be the best fit.The distillation process takes 3-4 hours to fill the included jug, which is longer than I expected. The instructions are not helpful at all. I had to look up a YouTube video to figure out how to use it, so if you’re not familiar with water distillers, be prepared to do some extra research.Overall, if you regularly need distilled water, this is a great way to save money and avoid constant trips to the store. It does have a few minor drawbacks, like the size and the learning curve, but I think it’s still a solid product and a great choice for plant parents & humidifier users!

Desde que leí el libro y empecé a destilar el agua he notado mucho sus efectos, encima tiene programador que te dá mucha tranquilidad para que no se pase el tipo y se quede vacío el calderín. Ya tengo compradas 2.

This works well. I'm pleased with it. Seems durable and is very easy to use. The carbon filter is the most difficult part, if you choose to use it. Not too loud and warms and humidifies the room it's operating in. Takes about 3.5 to 4 hours depending on whether or not you allow it to finish the cycle, and dry the sediment to the bottom, making it harder to clean between uses. Carbon filter your tap water first, for less sediment, especially if you've got hard water (lots of minerals) in it, for less clean up. I use citric acid powder or white vinegar to clean and rinse well with clean water and a dedicated sponge, and dry with a paper towel. I'm happy with my purchase, and the price was great!

My old 1750w water distiller starting having problems with the top motor, so I decided to get this new distiller, a different brand, and also purchased a 4-year warranty on it, since I distill a gallon every 2 days or so.Note in my photos you see me using a water tester, but this tester does _not_ come with the distiller and I purchased the water tester separately on Amazon, and you can find cheap water testers for under $10 on here. This 1750w distiller works great and is quieter than my prior distiller. My tap water prior to being distilled with this new unit was 332 ppm (shown in my review photos), and the resulting distilled water tested at 6 ppm, though I've gotten as low as 2 ppm so far. My tap water quality varies daily with undesired particles content. The only issues I had with this distiller, but they are minor and does not take away from the 5-star rating.1) To get 3000 ml or around 1 gallon you need to fill up the tank about 1 inch under the fill line (see in my photos). As if you fill water all the way up to the tank's marked fill line the distiller will _not_ distill the extra water and leaves about an inch standing in the tank. But if you will still get 1 gallon or 3000ml if you fill up to under 1 inch under the marked fill limit. But this unit lets you set the distilling time past the default 2 hours and 40 minutes. If you set the time to 3 hours then it would distill all the tank water up to the fill line. The other issue is that if you need to unplug the unit to move or clean it, the unit will forget the 3 hour setting and default back to the 2:40 timed setting. And again this is a minor issue, as I simply have to just fill up tap water to 1 inch under the limit line and I'll still get the water jug filled up to the 3000 ml level.2) The unit came with a metal stand, and I have no idea what it's used for, as it's not mentioned in the distiller's manual. I assume it's for distilling wine from another container placed inside the unit? My prior 1750w distiller did not have the metal rack seen in my photo. And it's minor, as not using the metal grill has no impact on me distilling 1 gallon of water.3) The manual gives instructions for using this distiller for wine? I have no idea why that feature is present, as all I care about is distilling water. But just a minor complaint.Anyhow I do recommend this distiller as it's fast and quiet, compared to my prior distiller.
