Awful product I had less than a year.It's disintegrating before my eyes and it sheds and gets all over.Your skin cannot be handled without complete cover.

My neighbors were complaining that I was frequently setting their lawns ablaze when I welded, torch-cut, or ground on steel in the driveway. Imagine that!I found these reasonably-priced welding blankets, made a frame from which to hang them when I am working on my time-machine. They are durable, strong, and attractive. Best of all, the whining, wailing, and gnashing of teeth has ceased and I can work in peace!My neighbors won’t think that I am crazy after I go back in time and buy up all of the surrounding lots before they do! Crazy, am I? Yeah … like an eel.

I couldn't find my fire blanket when I had a welding repair that I needed to do. This blanket protected the part that I didn't want spark damage to and was large enough to provide plenty of protection.

I have ordered many of these and have learned to use high temp hot glue around each grommet on both sides, this strengthens the grommets.
