We had a litter of great Dane puppies as a mama would not feed even our vet was amazed with how healthy they grew. Would not use anything else for a puppy. We now have a five year old great Dane that is he’s getting older. Doesn’t want to eat as much and I use it to sprinkle on his food and he is gaining weight. Products quality versatility is 5 star

I ordered the formula for my new puppy, I was told he was 8 weeks, but he was 6 weeks. It seemed he still wanted to nurse. I ordered this because of the reviews and high ratings. Puppy loved it and he had a full tummy.Then my husband was walking our senior pup (15 years old) a larger neighborhood dog got away from his owner and grabbed our 12 lb senior pup by the neck and was shaking her.She ended up only needing stitches but she just wasn’t interested in food or water.When ended up syringing her water, then remembered the formula said it was good for senior dogs and dogs in recovery. We started syringing her the formula. Well she perked right up and really lapped it up. She is doing great now and is eating her regular meals and her new brothers leftovers.It is easy to use and it mixes up well, no lumps. It kinda smells like goats milk, but it does not say it has goats milk in it.

I scored some at a really good deal at exactly the right time. Our gal loves it and it has been a great resource for extra nutrition while she's nursing.

You can’t return this product and there is something wrong with it! It smells like cheesy powdered milk and I think it is powdered milk not puppy supplement as stated! It made my pregnant dog sick the same day she drank it and she was doing fine on the older product until it ran out. Before I bought the new one she was drinking the exact same brand I had purchased before and doing fine and the old one was very different this new one! I have been using this exact milk replacement for several years. I know the product very well including what it smells like and it is usually a great high quality milk replacement for pups, pregnant females and older dogs. Unfortunately the one I got from Amazon is not the same. It stinks and gave all my dogs horrible diarrhea and also made them all super itchy!! Amazon won’t let me return it or get a replacement sent out which is not good business especially because I have been a reliable customer to both of these companies for many years. It caused my pregnant dog to get very sick!!!! ! If you want to us this, I would try buying directly from the manufacturer and stay away from this option. Or just try another one because now I’m out $30 and need to find a better high quality supplier. What a let down.

When my Dog Maya had to stop feeding the puppies only 3 thanks good! I when to Petco and found out Puppy formula was so expensive.The powder was easy to prepare, dissolving quickly in warm water. There were no clumps, and it created a creamy milk that resembled his mom's milk. I started using a blender bottle and the milk dissolved beautifully. I was concerned about them getting the right nutrients to grow and develop properly.Thankfully, Vets Preferred Puppy Milk Replacement Formula came to our rescue. The formula is packed with vital vitamins, minerals, and proteins.

Bought this as a supplement for my 16 year old dog who needs to eat softened food and sometimes needs a little encouragement to eat. She has always been super lean & hard to keep weight on even in her youth- everything else was normal, and she ate like a horse, but always had a super fast metabolism. As she has gotten older, she has gradually lost muscle mass and I really have to consistently stay on top of her food/caloric intake in order to keep her at a healthy weight.I've tried other calorie supplements over the years; the sticky tube kind doesn't mix easily with her pre-moistened food, liquid supplements are too costly for what you get, and other powdered "performance" type formulas meant for adult working dogs are also WAY too expensive and many of them have added ingredients or nutrients that a senior dog who sleeps most of the day doesn't really need.It finally dawned on me a few years ago, to try using puppy milk formula powder as a supplement. And whaddya know, there's even a part on the label that says it can be given to adult dogs as a food additive. I've bottle fed plenty of puppies and I guess I never really read the directions past the "how to mix for puppy feeding" part. It's been working well and it is quite cost-effective also.Not long ago I decided to try a puppy colostrum formula for that little extra boost of nutrition/probiotics/etc....this was the best value I found on Amazon so this is the first brand I bought, and I have noticed a difference in my sweet old girl...shinier coat, better body condition, more energy/cognitive awareness, and she gobbles up her whole bowl of food every time. I'm glad a product like this has helped my beloved senior dog enjoy whatever time she has left.
