Due to gut problems in my 17.5 yr old chihuahua my veterinarian had prescribed Pro- Pectalin. It worked well for her so I looked it up and it was available online so I started ordering it. She likes the taste and will take it from the tube, off of my finger or in her food.

Our older dog likes to eat things they should not in our backyard and also when anxious tends to have difficulties with diarrhea. We used to use a prescription from our vet and then our new vet does not carry this anymore so tried this non-subscription similar paste. It seems to work just as well.

This is so handy for our multi dog house, saved on some non emergency vet bills when they get into something outside.Be aware, for our little dogs this lasts and lasts, for our big ones though (100lbs) you’ll need more then one be if giving more then a couple doses.

I’m a veterinary professional that works with this stuff frequently and recently had to use it for my own pet and it works wonders. The dial dosing is great and it being in a dosing syringe makes administration a breeze.It is a little oily so don’t get into things you care about and cats generally hate the taste.

I can’t stress enough how well this works. Our dog came down with runny poos. Started going in the house cause she couldn’t get out fast enough. It was my fault I switched her food. Our old dog I would used to give endosorb. Well after looking and looking I could not find any in a small amount. So I ordered this on a whim. Within two doses of 8 hours I noticed she had quit pooing. So that told me it was firming things up. And sure enough it did. I just supplemented with chicken and rice and this stuff and she was back to normal. It works so well I ordered more to have on hand. And actually needed it for one dose. It got her right back on track. It’s a god send. It is sticky but small price to pay. I just put it on my finger and wipe it on her tongue.

My dog is a dog dog. Though he’s a show line Alsatian, he gets into mischief like any other dog. He enjoys playing a game that involves chasing the water from our water hose. He feels he has not lived unless he has had at least three or four of these games a day. He drinks some of that water. It keeps him cool on hot days, but I think it also causes his stomach to be upset. Now, I have switched to a safe drinking water hose, but it doesn’t help. Maybe he’s eating other stuff he should not eat. Thus, he gets a rumbly tummy. I feel for him when he is in this state. Wow, his stomach is loud and creative in its noise! In the past, I would simply have to let it pass naturally. This often meant that he would skip eating for a couple of days. Now, I have this sort of pepto bismol for dogs. It comes out like smooth peanut butter. He is always surprised when I’m successful at getting it in his mouth. The pointed tip and plunger helps. He licks his mouth and acts like he’s trying to wipe away the peanut butter like stuff, but an hour or two later, he is eating normally!
