works very well to help keep my pet hydrated. It’s great for replacing fluids lost due to dehydration, diarrhea, or vomiting. Easy to use, and my pet drinks it without any issues. A must-have for pet owners!

I tried this when I had a particularly long, drawn out critical care foster kitten case. This (in addition to medication and probiotics) really helped the kitten retain fluids while she was sickly. My adult cats didn't particularly like it, but that's okay with me since I ordered this specifically for the foster kitten. I wish it stayed shelf-stable a little while longer after opening- I'll probably only re-order if I can split the cost and container with other critical care foster givers, or if I have a sick dog that I know can consume the whole bottle within the allotted post-opening time limit.

I was concerned and also confused when I read the directions. I have an outside stray that is really dehydrated and won't drink. Been stringing him watery wet food with lots of water mixed in. As u know this is very dangerous because they can choke so easy. It says 3-4 Oz several times a day. Is that for real? I foster dogs and cats and that's insane. Plus there isn't getting that much liquid in a cat. I would be here all day or I would either choke my cat. I did read the lady's comment above. I agree. Tha k fod she's good at math. The watered down food is easier to syringe him because it's thicker and he can control it better In his mouth. I received this stuff last night. He usually eats about 40-50 ml of food 3 or 4 times a day. So I added equal part water, this stuff, and rebound. Rebound is the name of a thick liquid that has all the nutrients ur pet needs from the water plus other healthy vitamins. Anyway. I thought we were going to lose this little guy the other day. Major constipation which I gave an emema type thing and helped him with the plug. Gave a laxative gel I bought the day before. It worked great and now his poops are nice and soft but formed and he's not pushing do hard. Hes so weak an tired from that that he lays a lot and has just been peeing and pooping laying down. No Interest or every to move to his pad to do his business. Decides to buy this stuff. What could I lose. Don't mention that I should take him to a vet because I did, 3 times. He has FIV and got blisters in his mouth and I received the norm or antibodies. I asked for the dub fluids because he had quit drinking. He got better and was eating on his own then on day he started stumbling and not eating or drinking. I called the vet and asked for ear drops because his head was tilted and he was unbalanced. He started getting better but never ate or drank by himself so I have been syringe feeding wet food watered down. I asked for a refill and they told me no and I needed to bring him in. That's the way they do it even if it's a med they have prescribed already. I spent over 1400 in 5 weeks and told them I couldn't afford it right now and they still wouldn't. So I'm stuck fighting for this baby and figuring out how to rehydrate him. So I fed him several times with my mixture yesterday and up till about an hour ago. Remind you he was not sta ding up and moving to the pad to do his business and just ,getting it go right there. He has to be fed and watered by syringe, but he does allow me to. He stayed in my roommates bedroom because she has like a little apt set up with an outside door. We have the other babies ans he's FIV so we have to protect them as well as him. I have a noonie cam i1n her room watching him and I wat he'd him walk from the dig bed to his little cage! He stumbled like crazy but he a tally was able, and wanted to, stand up and walk 5 feet to another location. I don't know if it has anything to do with his stuff or not but I wanted t leave a comment about that. It's a big deal. I'll get on in a couple days and update. So tne amount I'm giving him is approx 2 or 3 mls blended in a half can of wet food along with the water and rebound about every 4 hours. I'll take a ml to him about every hour or 2. So he probably consumed 30 MLS of the rehydration fluid in 16 hours which is about an Oz it believe. I'm just glad he's feeling better.

Our dog was very sick vomiting and couldn’t keep anything down. He refused to eat or even drink water. I started giving him 1 ml at a time of this electrolyte dog solution in a flush syringe. For reference our dog is 52 pounds and the solution recommends 3ml 3 times a day. For our dog it was easiest to given him 1 ml at a time over 15 minutes to equal the full 3ml dose. Within a few hours he began perking up and was less dehydrated. This solution contained essential vitamins and minerals our dog was lacking due to the vomiting. It helped him so much. After about 18 hours of pushing the electrolyte solution in him he began acting hungry again and less lethargic. I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone whose dog is sick or dehydrated. It was safe and gentle in his belly and helped him get hydrated again and get his vitamins and minerals replenished. I cannot say enough good things about the electrolyte solution. This will be a staple in our house for our dogs.

Just like many others, I should have listened to everyone that left a warning/bad review. This smelled so bad, there was nothing I could think of to try to mask the smell so my cat would drink it. She wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure she was downright OFFENDED that I even TRIED to feed her that putrid smelling liquid. The liquid is also a very brown color, like rusty water. In what world does the seller think any animal would willingly drink this? There's no way to even cover/mask the taste or smell it is so horrendous. Every one star review I now know was actually truthful. This stuff SUCKS! There is NOTHING good about this product! No returns or refunds either, so the seller is quickly getting richer $20 at a time as they financially rape every person that buys this. Now that you know this...purchase at your own risk! You have officially been warned!
