Manufactured by Salsbury Industries to USPS-STD-4B+ Specifications. Ideal for apartments, condominiums and commercial buildings. Made entirely of aluminum. Feature a durable powder coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone and green. Mount directly to a wall and are secured with mounting hardware (not included). The old box was made a little heavier but being 40 years old or so that was expected. The sizing was spot on. New unit protrudes maybe a quarter inch or so further out from the old units. Keys all fit fine and ordered some numerical door numbers as well. Postal service stopped by once it was installed and swapped out their lock from the old unit to the new one. Very satisfied with this order.

I like the product for my use, however when the postoffice employee came to install their lock, we were told that this unit hasn't been allowed for postal installation since 1999. And we had to argue with him to get him to install the postoffice lock, as we had a stamped approval from our local postmaster. So far they haven't come back to remove their lock, but we watch every day as this was implied by the postal installer.
