The heading says 8in... and 4in. Unless you select the one that only says 8in. I didn't and I got the 4in portion of the description. That said, it's half the width I need, but it's a decent piece of copper flashing.

I got this roll of copper to cover small holes that some rodents were using to get into our home and it worked great for that purpose. It is thin, easy to cut, and only takes small nails or staples to attach to the wood.

I will use this to repair circuit board traces. I have some of the copper tape, but there's times I don't want the glue, even though I believe the glue claims to be conductive.

Yes. This can be used for roof flashing, but why? Get some cheap aluminum for that. This is thin yet durable enough to make some 3d printed stamps, trim on wood, metal, or other craft projects. As this is copper you can also force patina this to great effect. Personally I am going to make a storage box for my DND dice for that little extra flair.

This roll of copper is really beautiful. It will have many applications beyond just repairing a roof. My only complaint is that mine ended up flat, not in a roll due to the fact that it's not boxed. But if you are planning on reshaping the copper, this may not matter. Recommended.

I guess 4 inches is the new 8 inches. It's very thin, thinner than most of the flashing you get at the home improvement store and will rip easily if you nail it in and put any pressure on it. I wouldn't recommend using it.

This copper foil is great for all sorts of projects, from putting a roof on a birdhouse to doing repairs on your own roof. It's thicker than aluminum cooking foil but thinner than an aluminum soda can, so it can easily be bent by hand. It's also thin enough to cut with regular scissors. It should last a long time out in the weather, too. I'm sure it will tarnish after a while, but being copper, it will last a very long time.
