The size is perfect for my burner but I expected the gauge to be thicker for the price.

Arrived flat, shiny and just as needed. It was good stock to cut into strips. Worked perfectly for a electro plating project.

I did a search for heat diffuser and this product came up. It said it’s unpolished. I recently purchased a la Chamba clay pot made in Columbia. It suggested to use a heat diffuser while cooking on stove tops. One picture shows the pot, the damage done to my stove top, and what the back of the copper sheet looks like (the side that was against the cook top while cooking). The other two pics shows the damage to the glass cook top and the other shows what the bottom of the pot looks like now and the other side of the copper (this side of the copper was in contact with the pot). Please note that I used low heat to make a stew that cooked for several hours. The damage to the stove looks like something has burned on to the stove top from the copper sheet. If it was unpolished like they claimed then there should be no product to burn to it. It almost has a metallic sheen to the residue. I can’t get it off. I’ve used bar keepers friend, glass stove top cleaner, and baking soda… at different times of course, To no avail. If it was to diffuse the heat you can see from the pot where it turned clay color is caused from heat. These pots will turn clay color on the bottom because of heat that’s not the issue. The issue is, the copper didn’t diffuse the heat. No stars given from me for the damage and lack of function 1star because they shipped it out timely.
