I received this compass and wanted to mount it in my car as a backup to my car's own compass. My advice is do not waste your money on this device!!!! The compass could not find North to save its life!!! It seemed to have a mind all of its own, and would not hold a bearing steady no matter where it was placed, or how far away from possible electrical interference it was placed!!! I guess you get what you pay for. This compass was cheap....and so was its performance!!! I had to send this back for a refund.

Keeps falling from compass side not the side that goes on the auto

The red line should be vertical for accuracy, not horizontal. Also, it’s not accurate even on the kitchen table. I’ll not be be keeping.
