I mounted this in my truck and it's fun to have. I used the 2 sided tape provided and even during the Summer heat, it has held tight. Of course, it's a compass and you need to keep it away from anything magnetic like your phone. I have mine about 3 inches away from my I Phone SE mount and it's still accurate and you can see it move as I take turns left and right.

I really wish I'd read all the other reviews before purchasing this. Doesn't matter which direction my van faces, if it's turned on this only reads SW. The inclinometer works, it looks nice, and the adhesion material is good, but I bought it for the compass and that's the one (and most important) feature that doesn't work when I need it to. I'm going to assume there's something in modern vehicles that generates a magnetic field that causes this, but I can't help but feel that's an issue the manufacturer should have addressed or something. I'm really disappointed in it.

Bought this to use in my Can-am Commander but it won't work even when 12 inches from metal. Going to try it on my kayak.

Perhaps we shouldn’t attempt to use it in the car but there’s no place in the car where the direction is as you are driving. Been trying every place we can think of and it just doesn’t work. Maybe too late to return it but I’m going to try.

It took 4 weeks before the liquid start coming out! I drove for 3 hours the wrogh way from Miami to Orlando because of this junk! It took me the wrogh way, when it leaked I called Triple A and they couldn't help me!
