The package was missing the adhesive mount that the description says comes with the compass. Fortunately, that doesn't matter, because the compass simply doesn't work. It doesn't give accurate readings, and I've tried it in a number of places inside, outside, in a car, etc. It just doesn't work. This is a complete waste of money.

I'm spoiled. All my rear view mirrors are "smart" and have direction in them. My camper doesn't. So this will help me when establishing the best direction to park. Very easy to mount and see on the dash.

So I bought this for my 1987 GMC S15 just for the hell of it and I think it's super cool. It seems to work just fine when I'm holding it but I'm starting to debate whether or not this thing is actually working now that it's mounted on my dash. Every time I seem to look over it seems to be pointing West and no matter what direction I'm going in which is weird because when I'm holding it in my hand and I'm moving around with it it does seem to be working properly but I started thinking in my head I was headed the other direction and it said West earlier and then when I was actually heading north it was saying West again so now I don't know if it was just stuck because when I pick it up and kind of wiggle it around it does seem to spin around but I don't know if possibly I got one with the manufacturer defect or what but it still looks cool s*** on my dash and I'm not really using it for navigation so I'm not really complaining about it. Overall it seems to be made of very durable material and is very affordable and it arrived on time and very well packaged so if you just want something cool to toss on the top of your truck I say grab one.
