Vater has been making high-quality drumsticks for many years now. These 7As do not disappoint. Bearing in mind that drumsticks are as personal as gloves and shoes as related to good feel, these 7As are a good choice if you're playing low-volume music where nothing heavier will do. If they work for you, they're well worth having and enjoying their use.

通常はベーターの5Aだが、繊細なリズムでは7Aを使います。やや細めで使いやすいです。ベーターのヒッコリーは滑りにくく私にはあってます。

Because I play in smaller rooms my old 5A’s were just too much. I was blowing everyone out with my cymbals so I switched to these lighter sticks and although the lightweight feel took some getting used to, I’m really enjoying playing them.I play upbeat worship sets that are pretty dynamic - soft moments, big moments and a lot of builds. For me this stick can play comfortably through all dynamics well and I’m now used to crashing my 22” ride with it. Just took a change of technique/strike position from the old 5A’s.

When drumming to rock music it gets too slippery. Needs more grip. Otherwise for beginners it should work fine.Wife/Drummer

Fat and punchy sound delivered when snare is struck and a pronounced ride cymbal sound and crash literally explodes when struck.

By far the best sticks I've ever used... good length, great wood, excellent balance and light in the hands... money well spent

I've been drumming for almost 40 years, and I've played a variety of music from hard rock, country, funk, R&B, to even some Latin jazz. My regular stick preference would be a 5A in wood tip. I used to prefer nylon, but the tips kept coming off and I like the dryer more natural sound of wood on the ride cymbal. I use almost exclusively wood tips now. But, the reason I love these sticks is the incredible response and tone I get from the rounded tips. My current band is playing softer 60's rock and R&B and these are perfect for smaller situations. For bigger venues I might still use a 5A for more volume, but for softer stuff these are my choice. I am also impressed with the durability, they seem to hold up better than many other sticks I've tried. Highly recommend, I've ordered several pairs and will continue to buy them.
