The clip broke walking one medium size strong dog you would think her harness would give first with plastic buckles but no, these are dangerous. The clip snapped, and the dog ran to the fence of another dog.

Overall I think this leash is good quality. One of my dogs pulls and the other is well-trained so I liked the idea of the bungee on one side. The bungee does help keep my boy from getting jerked around by his sister as well as softening the pull for me, too. The difference in length is what gets me, though. My female hates to be left behind so having one side so much shorter is not great. I can either set it so that she is constantly behind him and pulling to catch up (if I lengthen the colored side) or so that they are even with one another until she pulls, at which point she is in the lead and happy about it - either way, it ends up encouraging the pulling. If your dogs don't pull or if one doesn't mind being behind the other, this leash could be a great option for you but it isn't working as well for me as I had hoped.

The Vastar Double Dog Walker has made walking my two dogs so much easier! The adjustable design allows me to keep the dogs at just the right distance from each other, and the leash coupler is sturdy enough to handle both of my pups, even when they pull a bit. The black and purple color combo is stylish, and the quality feels premium and durable. It’s comfortable to hold, doesn’t get tangled easily, and gives me much better control. This has definitely made our walks more enjoyable

The bungees are different lengths on the two parts, but that doesn't really affect the function too much since both overall lengths are the same. (The stretched lengths are a little different though.) I just put my more powerful dog on the side with the longer bungee section so she won't hurt herself.This is great to tie two dogs to one runner so they don't tangle themselves up.The bungees will also help keep them from hurting themselves if they do pull.(For note, a dog at full speed reaching the end of a non-elastic line on a neck collar can really hurt themselves. I recommend using bungee ends, and also connecting to a body harness instead of a neck collar.)

I like this double leash. I have been wanting a double leash for a while and when I saw this one I decided to try it. I like how well-made it is, the material is thick and sturdy and the metal pieces are solid and strong. I also really like that one side is longer than the other and has the bungee. I have one dog that is more energetic and distractable, so the bungee lets him wander a little more than his brother. I like the bonus water dish as well, it's always nice to have an extra. I love the purple color, purple is my favorite color so I always look for purple accessories when I can. Overall I love it and do recommend it.
