Assembly: This product is quick and easy to assemble.Material: It is made of MDF which is made of engineered wood product, with hardy steel tubes. What I love is, it has an adjustable coat hangers. The shelf is sturdy and functional enough to sit on. The color looks like a real wood it makes my back porch incredibly inviting. This storage rack I would say is good enough to put in the enough as a furniture.

I was really determined to find a rack of hooks for my entryway with brass hardware to match the light fixtures in my front room and ended up purchasing this to also replace my shoe shelf. The fact that it also has an upper shelf and bench is a godsend. It looks so much neater than my old entryway storage system and comfortably fits everything I need for going to/from work, dog walks, etc very efficiently. As others mentioned, it is indeed very compact which is a relief since I worried about a hall tree making my entryway crowded. As others mentioned, some of the pilot holes for the hook screws are uneven but this is easy to rectify by angling the screws a little as you put them in and twisting the hooks as needed. I mean, this is coming from the amazon version of ikea, so not shocking there would be something like that. But overall, for the price I am really thrilled with the value.

This coat rack/shoe rack is stunning. The wood for the seat and shelf are gorgeous and amazing quality. The set up was so easy as every single piece was marked with a letter or number and the instructions were easy to follow. I put it together myself and it took me about an hour. Turned out great. Perfect addition to my hallway. Love it so much!!!

I have looked at many entry way shoe shelf’s/racks and decided on this one. It was very easy to put together. All parts were well packaged and labeled. I love the way it looks in my entryway way. It takes up very little space and makes the shoes looked well organized.

Easy to assemble, one person can assemble it without help. Great size for small entrance. We can hang a lot of winter clothes very sturdy. The wood parts are in the perfect stain. The metal part is not black, it's more of a dark brown color. It comes with the accessories to secure it to the wall, but we didn't put it in and it doesnt tilt.

I’m so in love with this. I rarely leave comments but I too depend on comments from people who have purchased before buying so I thought I would leave some advice. It’s such easy assembly which the wood comes ready all you have to do is screw together. I gave it a 4 star for assembly bc the screws look identical. Please be ware that the black screws are 2 different sizes. If you use the longer one in place of the shorter one.... you will damage the wood which I included a pic of that error. The longer screw goes on the side which is the metal frame to the wood. The shorter ones hold the metal bars to the wood. Other than that it was easy to assemble. Pieces come labeled on the bag and the part, can’t mess up.On sturdiness I gave 4 stars as it is a little wobbly when you sit down you can feel the frame not too stable. Besides that it’s great.Size is perfect, there is a good amount for shoe storage and a perfect height for the bench.

Super easy to assemble and very sturdy.. I've sat on it (125 lbs.), it didn't feel tippy at all and I didn't secure it to the wall either with the included straps.. I didn't attach the top shoe shelf in order to allow for taller boots on the bottom shelf and the rack still feels really sturdy.. the front two legs are on a bit of carpet so that could push it a little more against the wall I'm not sure.. there are little leveler feet you screw onto the bottom legs and you can adjust those if the rack is wobbly.. I also hung a very heavy coat on it and it didn't feel tippy at all either.. if you see in pic #2 the colour on the seat it's quite off in the one area which I kind of don't like but for the price of the rack it's not a huge big deal.. there was also a huge discoloration almost looking like a scratch on the board that the hooks are on but I filled it in with a bit of furniture touch-up marker which looks not bad for now but I need to buy a darker brown.. there was also a bit of colour missing scraped off on the one piece of metal which was also not a big deal as I just filled the area in with a bit of black marker.. the thing I like especially about this coat rack is that the seat is not very deep so it fits in my front hall really nicely and allows my bathroom door enough clearance to fully open.. all in all for the price you can't go wrong it's a very attractive looking rack, very sturdy, and very practical.

This rack is the perfect size for our front hall and conveniently holds the family coats, shoes, gloves, book bags, and hats.It went together very easily, although I would recommend using a standard screwdriver if you have one, as the combination hex wrench / screwdriver provided is functional at best. The quality seems solid for the price. The simulated wood grain boards look good and the parts all fit together very cleanly. The only pieces that weren’t great were the metal hooks, which had some manufacturing defects. I didn’t deem them serious enough to request replacements though. The rack is stable and sturdy. Mine wobbles a bit at the top because I did not want to screw it to our plaster walls, but I would imagine if I had used the provided straps it would be solid as a rock.

Assembled this with my 83-yr old mother in just over an hour, including the time it took to inventory & identify all the different sizes of screws. It looks great, seems very sturdy, and fits into the small space we have at our entrance. It will help a lot with the shoe and coat mess at the entrance, and is really beautiful for the price. I chose this one because it has both a bench you can sit on (or use for backpacks and other heavy items), as well as a shelf above the hooks for other things that need to be readily accessible near the door. Am very pleased with the quality and look of this! Great value for the money. I'm considering ordering some of the same style/brand of floating shelves to complete the look in our small dining area.

Just received this today so I cannot attest to the longevity of it yet but I did quite a bit of research looking for an entry way "catch all" for bags/keys/shoes since we have no entry closet. I didn't want to take up a lot of space which I was worried about the top shelf of this sticking out too much...it doesn't. I consider myself a pretty handy 37 year old woman so this thing was pretty simple and easy to assemble. Took about an hour by myself. Instructions were very clear and all pieces were there, no additional tools required unless you want to anchor it to the wall. Tip for those who complained about drilling through the boards, check your inventory, set aside screw sizes in groups and follow directions. I really like this thing. Looks good and anchors to the wall for sturdiness and stability. The ONLY issue I had was at the very end, literally the last 2 screws going into the wood shelf with the hooks, they just kept spinning. They were in tight enough but didn't tighten all the way. I could probably just dip into my own screws and it would be fine but I got lazy at the end, shook it to check for stability and it was good enough. Good luck🤞

You can tell this is a mass assembly line product, as some of the drilled holes in the metal pieces were a bit rough, but once assembled those are out of sight out of mind. The pieces are marked and/or illustrated with accompanying ID letters. READ THE included INSTRUCTIONS SLOWLY and sort out all the pieces ahead of time to make sure you know what goes where in what order and all items needed are present. It was easier with two people putting it together, but it could be done by one person who isn't impatient. We didn't need to resort to our own tools (a small allen key/screwdriver tool is included) until we screwed in the coat hooks. As is, the finished product tucked into the corner behind a door very nicely and was stable enough to not need attaching to the wall. YMMV on stability (although there are self leveling legs) and if you have kids, please err on the side of caution and attach to the wall. The bench seat and top shelf and coat hook board are laminate-covered mdf of some variety but the bench does hold the weight of a large man who needs to sit to put on boots and the coat hook board seems to be holding up against winter coats. If a handy person wanted to replace the mdf boards with true wood, and perhaps change out screws holding up the coat hooks for longer ones and reinforcing washeres, not that big a job, but until such 'hacking', the unit does the job and looks better to us than a strictly utilitarian style.
