It is SOLID--no bouncing around whatsoever, which was my primary reason for selecting this product. Love the second holder for vents--keep it in my travel bag.The magnet is very strong--probably too strong--but I've gotten used to removing phone like opening a door instead of pulling it straight off the holder.

This holder works well, is easy to install.The magnet is strong but one has to be careful to get the phone lined up properly. It comes with a thin metal ring which sticks to the phone case and works well. The only problem I have with it is that so far I've found it impossible to position the arm so that the holder is out of the frame. It appears in all the images I've shot.

Strong magnet holds my iPhone phone or my husband’s samsung phone, which is great because we swap cars and we don’t have to worry about it.Many of the reviews for other products warned these mounts will drop your phone bc of weak magnets or cheap suction cups. This one is high quality and has not dropped my phone once in three months I have beem using, so this one is five stars imo.I also love how adjustable it is and that those components are holding up well too.

This one holds the best of many windshield versions I've seen and seems to hold up in the hot sun. Telescoping rod is great, strong magnet - and can be tightened for rotation, even turning it horizontal stays firm. The extension is great when driving to view map details up close.

The unit was extremely well packed with each item properly protected. Everything is well made and strong, and the installation instructions are simple yet comprehensive. I have used one of the metal rings to enable usage, but my wife's iPhone has MagSafe and the magnet holds it securely. Since my car's internal navigation system is out of date and updates are expensive, I will now be able to use a mobile phone navigation application for my travels. I really appreciate the long and generous warranty, though I hope that I will never need it.

My car has an old navigation system built-in so it is not longer accurate. I got this Vanmass car cell phone holder because my iPhone 12 is Magsafe compatible and I want to use it for its up-to-date maps.The holder has a really powerful suction cup with a bit of adhesive on it. It also has a separate bracket for attaching it to a car's vent. I prefer to use the suction cup to avoid blocking the vents and blasting the phone with hot or cold air. The suction cup is really strong and handles hot weather without issue.The holder comes with accessories like metallic O-rings and even a cleaning wipe. The magnet is really powerful when I attach my iPhone 12 directly to it. However I never have my iPhone outside its protective case and unfortunately my case is not Magsafe compatible. So I just used one of the provided O-rings and stuck it to the back of the case. Now my phone with its case can magnetically stick to the stand.The stand definitely does its job at holding my iPhone 12 without any chance of it falling off. The arm can be adjusted to almost any angle by unscrewing the tightener, adjusting the angle to your preference then tightening it again. This holder is exactly what I needed to take advantage the latest maps and GPS on my phone when doing road trips.

Hey, folks! So, I recently got my hands on the Vanmass magnetic car mount, and I gotta say, it's pretty nifty. The cool thing is, it's designed for Magsafe compatible devices, but I'm using a Samsung S21+ – no worries though, they hooked me up with two adhesive steel rings to make it work like a charm!Let's talk magnets. This bad boy's got some serious magnetic attraction for Magsafe iPhones or those steel rings. It's like magic how it snaps into place! Only thing to note, when you have a case on, the magnetic strength does go down a notch. But hey, no big deal, my Samsung with the steel ring still charges wirelessly just fine.One thing I love about this mount is its versatility. It's got a sticky gel base with suction that locks it firmly in place when you want it to. Plus, the extendable arm is just perfect. Three sections that stay put without any fuss, and you can lock the angle you want with a knob on the side. Super handy for different dashboard setups!Oh, and don't forget, you can use this mount with non-magnetic phones too! They're thoughtful like that, including a pair of steel rings in the box.All in all, I'm pretty stoked about this Vanmass car mount. It's got everything I need – easy mounting, great adjustability, and it plays well with both Magsafe and non-Magsafe phones. If you don't mind sticking a ring on your case or don't use one, I'd totally recommend giving this baby a shot.
