I wanted a mount for my RAV4 that would be out of the way of the screen, simple design, and easy to use with a short cable for CarPlay. This mount checks all the boxes. I was able to easily mount it to the back of the infotainment display, and it sits just to the left of it. It's out of view from the windshield and it doesn't block and controls or buttons on the display. It's a strong magnet that holds my phone with no worries, and it doesn't seem like it's going to come loose even over heavy bumps in the road. The design is very simple and blends well with the car.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!Mostly metal composition, providing a high-quality feel as well as an ultra-premium aesthetic.The rotating arm allows adjustment along all axis' from the pivot-point, resulting in ultimate customization with regard to phone position and placement.The Magsafe magnets are SUPER STRONG. If you are using with an ESR case in particular, you may need to two-hand your device off. Even going caseless, I have never felt even the slightest that my phone would detach.The template installation for Tesla screen mounting works flawlessly. I have used on another vehicle as a dashboard mount, and the adhesive extra included adhesive dashboard pad worked just as well.Wanting to move my mount for a third time I inquired about where I could purchased another advesive pad, and ESR offered to send me one at no charge. A++ customer service/support in my books.

I purchased the car mount about 8 weeks ago. It was easy to install, the adhesive is strong, and the MagSafe magnet is firm yet one can still release the iPhone when needed with little fuss. I believe it's a solid product, and I can see myself using it for a long time to come. But like many things in life, nothing is perfect. About six weeks into using it, the nut (which allows the MagSafe mount to stay fixed facing a particular direction) cracked and eventually completely broke. This rendered my mount almost useless. I immediately reached out to ESR to ask for a replacement nut. Not only did they respond quickly, they merely asked for photos of the damage, and then shipped out a replacement. Not a replacement nut, but a brand new mount. Diana, the customer care service member I dealt with was wonderful, and she kept her word. ESR's product is good, and their customer care team is even better.

I’m invested in a halo lock MagSafe magnet for my iPhone case and love it. So I decided to try their ESR halo lock dash mount. So far I love its quality, design , flexible mounting options and positions and Straightforward instructions. Now for the magnet . Let’s just say the magnet holding power for the phone is killer! It’s actually a little too strong for my liking. You have to pull it extremely hard on the phone to release the phone from the magnet. I find myself having to push down on the mount body while pulling hard in the phone. Basically a quick one handed grab of your phone while a NOT possible. It requires a bit too much effort. And depending on the temperature and what surface it’s mounted to, I can see the suction cup pulling free or even the locking arm being tested. Although I’m happy I’m sure my phone won’t fall off the mount when going over harsh road conditions, I wish there was a happy middle ESR could find with its magnet strength. I like to be able to reach in to the vehicle and quickly grab my phone so this isn’t really possible with this magnet. As seen in my photos I have it mounted in my commercial work vehicle so I needed to ensure the magnet would hold over bumpy trips. I’m happy so far other than the crazy magnet strength and not a deal breaker for me. I am happy with ESR products so far and will continue to buy them.1- update. Regarding the overly strong magnet. Today I went to take my phone from the mount and due to the extremely strong magnet it actually pulled the halo lock MagSafe adhesive add on magnet off my case. Today was warmer than it has been in a while so I assume it softened the adhesive on my case and that’s what made it easy for the too strong magnet to pull it free. I may have to return this mountUpdate: seller was outstanding in helping me with the issue that I disliked about their product. They made it right and I couldn’t ask for better customer service. They went above and beyond and communication was outstanding. Although this item didn’t work for me I purchased ESR products before and will continue to do so.2 update- this seller has made every accommodation to satisfy me and help me find one of their other products that better suit my needs. Don’t hesitate to use this seller and their products.

I followed the installation instructions for this mount to a T in my Model 3 Tesla and got several months of usage out of this mount. It is a great mount and I like that I can quickly move it from a side mount to a top mount. The magnet works great with my Magsafe case and never had a problem removing or attaching it to the mount.One evening I noticed that my phone kept slowly rotating downward and was not staying in position. Eventually the whole mount fell off the back side of my Tesla screen and I realized the adhesive had come loose where the mount attaches to the screen. It was in the heat of summer so I'm not sure if that played a role in it or if my iPhone 14 Pro Max was too much weight for the adhesive. Either way, it wasn't too convenient to lose my phone mount when I had a lot of driving left to do that evening.The kit does come with a 2nd adhesive. I just have not spent the time to remove the partial adhesive on the back of my screen and try to re-attach the mount using the replacement adhesive.I suspect the provided adhesive just isn't sufficient for a larger phone like the Pro Max. It's a shame as I did like the versatility of the mount but probably only got 2-3 good months of usage out of it before it failed me.

This was easy to install (I do think it could do with less packaging and guides that then you have to throw away after install). The magnet is super strong - have no issues with my phone falling off, and it takes a good tug to remove it.I love how it can fold back on itself to maintain the aesthetics of the car when I don’t want it sticking out of the screen.
