The pegs keep slipping. We CANNOT keep it in tune. It's totally useless. I bought it around Christmas time for a kid who's birthday is in February. Bad idea, cause now the return window is closed and I can't return this piece of garbage.

Nice for beginner. Takes a little fuss to get set up and tuned. the tuner is actually pretty nice. I checked it to our keyboard and it read true. The case was nicer than I expected and it's a complete package! The finish looks good. The only trouble was one of the fine tuners is not quite right. You can't go wrong for the price!!

Got this for my niece and she managed to break a string within minutes. Not sure how she did that, but if this violin is for kids it may not be durable enough to hold up to actual kids. The mom is currently debating on whether or not she should keep it or not. Not sure what I'll do with it if she gives it back!

It’s great. Unfortunately out of the box my daughter tried to tune it like a guitar which broke a string. So you know, the top tuning screws are only to tighten the bottom round knobs are the actual tuning screws.

Just got the violin and was really impressed with the quality of the violin and the case (especially at this price point $150). Alot of stuff was included, tuner, rosin, cloth, mute, finger board chart etc. The bow was pretty good as well (for the price) and was made of wood. I was worried about what the color would look like, but as you can see it's a lovely muted lilac purple (with a tiny bit of sparkle, really subtle). The only thing (and it's really minor) was that my second bow had a tough time fitting in the case. It got in but took a bit of fiddling. Really great bang for your buck!
