Ordered front and side window set for Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500XD. Hands down this is the best set I have found. Well designed and constructed, does an excellent job of keeping the sun / heat out of the RV. I like the way they tightly fit the windows and stay in place. Excellent privacy. Fold flat and have Velcro closure with storage bag. Well worth the price.

Van Essentials window covers are excellent. The quality, fit and ease of installation make them a "must have" for travel vans. They block out all light and do a great job of insulating against heat, cold and noise. We are very pleased with this purchase.

These were pricey, but after trying two other types that were less expensive, that did not fit well, wore out after a season, and did not insulate as well we decided to splurge and try what seemed to be a better design. We were right, this is a great design, and we are happy customers. Safe yourself some aggravation if you are looking for Sprinter front door shades, and just purchase these. Very happy customer.

Excellent quality and fit for Revel van. I like the light grey for the interior as it keeps it brighter. The stow bags are also nice and make it easy to store them. Insulation is great for cold and hot temps outside.

I installed this product in my 2012 Mercedes Sprinter 170 EXT. I purchased it for the passenger sliding door. The product arrived next day (Prime) without damage. Product comes inside an included a storage bag. Quality of material and craftsmanship is outstanding. Fit is perfect (sans the door lock - which isn't cutout in the blind).I marked value 3 stars only because this is an investment. I camp ~60 nights a year in my van so I may adjust it if it proves a reliable and durable as unboxing suggests.My van configuration includes a kitchen extending across a portion of the sliding door opening + a control panel extending across ~24" of the top of the sliding door opening. I also have a bug screen across the entirety of the sliding door opening. There was no issue opening and closing the door with the shade down. I did not do any tests when I installed it with the shade 'up'.The split in the shade, with the ability to fold up a portion as illustrated in the product photos, works effortlessly and the product has small magnets to hold the folded portion up. Yes, the magnets around the perimeter of the product hold the entire product securely.It was with no remorse I tossed my old hand made reflector shield into the bin. I will post photos and submit a post camping report after first use.Photos added 10/7 - no issues with door clearance when opening when folded. Also no significant visibility loss when driving.

Like many RV van conversions, the rear window surround of my Grech Turismo Ion RV built on a Sprinter chassis is plastic. The standard magnetic window covers have no metal to adhere to. So I purchased VanEssentials insulated rear door covers for plastic surrounds. Unfortunately, the box I received from Amazon was missing the magnets and adhesive to attach to the rear windows. A quick email to VanEssentials and the missing parts were here in three days.Saw a video on how to install them for another manufacturer on YouTube and they were installed in less than a half hour. Installing them were extremely easy and they grip perfectly. Not only do they block all light from entering but they help insulate the inside of the Grech also. I had previously purchased the VanEssentials cover for my MaxxAir vent which also was a quick install. Being that I could not find any markings on the covers indicating right or left side, I highly recommend that you try the cover to the window first before installing the metal adhesive so you place the metal strips and adhesive where they belong. The color is a perfect match to the interior of my Grech and only wish that VanEssentials made the same kit to fit the other windows with plastic surrounds in the van. I highly recommend their products.

Price is rightFabric and fit and greatThey have to upgrade their magnets. Barely good enough.The CRL direct fit doesn’t work great. They give you metal tabs to fit around the aluminum frame and their magnets are supposed to magnet to those. Problem is that the magnets are too weak and their location around the aluminum frame get in the way of the screw heads so you can’t stick the metal strips where they need to go so the magnets on the window cover stick to window.I would not but the CRL direct fit. Just go bigger and get the one that fits the inside frame

They fit the contour perfectly. No light leaking inside or out . Warning buying one section will make you want all the other ;)

I’ve had my van over a year and resisted spending this kind of money on a “window cover”. I’m a creative and industrious problem solver sure that I could make what I needed. I probably spent the cost of this trying to make something that would do the job.This is worth it - I’ve moved on to other things - I just have one ‘custom’ window to deal with - going to check their other options - maybe something will fit!
