5mm thick rubber protective mat with specially designed grooves for anti-slip and aesthetics. We also included a small protruding structure along the groove edge to prevent the barbell from being inserted too deeply and scratching the barbell.
5mm thick steel.
We are a real thickness of 4mm material, which can hang barbells for a long time without the risk of deformation or falling. It's no problem to use it for 5 years. The cheap products on the market use only 3mm thickness, which deforms easily and has a short service life, with low cost-effectiveness.

It works as supposed to. I have use a few other brands over the years. After a while they tend to bend, this one seems to be better constructed.

Very sturdy and high quality all around. It has a thick rubber pad to secure the bar even more and keep it from being scratched, which is a nice touch. Exactly what I was after and at a great price.

I used this for mounting a Speediance Gym Monster 2 barbell. It works perfectly, but I had to mount it into drywall using the supplied inserts/screws and had issues with the screws meeting the required torque during installation and had to come up with another solution. They don't even mention drywall as an option, but the Speediance barbell is not too heavy.Lastly, the rubber pad attaches to the bracket with 2X flat head screws that are too short and have a very loose fit with the threads, so you have to apply adequate pressure and not over torque on installation.
