Looks as pictured. I used the reattached mounting pad to put it up so no screws required! Very easy and it's sturdy. Gold is a nice brushed gold look and matches my other bathroom decor. I like how when I pull the TP, it does not slip off like some others I've used!

It's been stuck to my bathroom paneling for several months now. Still hangin' tight! I like being able to just slide the roll on, without any moving parts. And that little shelf? Handy!

It's a toilet paper holder and does the job. Be sure to sand the edges as they are pretty roughly made and can cut you.

These have a sticky pad on the back, no screws or drilling holes, i put mine on tiles, just clean them good with rubbing alcohol then wipe off, just be sure when you do stick it on the wall, it’s straight and exactly where you want it, once it’s on , you’ll have a hard time removing it without damaging the wall, definitely solid, the item is made strong and is thicker metal, looks good and the right size

Fed up of not having a toilet roll holder and not brave enough to drill one up this was a great alternative. I have to say it was quite heavy and I was apprehensive it would stay up with just the sticky pads but this had been up over a month and not budged perfect! The shelf at the top of great for popping baby wipes on for the little people. Overall very impressed.

Excellent product! I had the traditional toilet paper holder with two posts and a spring-loaded spindle between them. It was attractive but a full roll of toilet paper would not spin easily (actually it hardy moved with a full jumbo roll). My wife and I ended up setting the roll on the vanity until we used up enough TP to put in in the holder. I finally got tired of that. I checked the reviews on this item and confirmed it would hold a jumbo roll, so I ordered it. As other reviewers have noted, the item does not come with installation instructions. That was not a deal-breaker for me, since I have a lot of experience installing bathroom hardware. Of note, I did not opt for the adhesive installation and instead decided to screw it into the wall, in part because I already had screw holes from the previous holder and this was able to use one of the existing mounting points. I thought the drywall anchors and screws provided were not as robust as I'd prefer for the installation, so I used a heavy-duty drywall anchor, matching the one I had already in place. I'm very confident that will keep the holder secure. Even without instructions, the installation was very easy since you don't have to measure the holder as carefully as you might have to with a traditional holder. All I had to do was make sure the holder was level so I could mark the position for the second hole. The only part that was less than obvious was the decorative endcaps for the screws. I had to take a small screwdriver and pop the plastic grommet out of the end-cap. I then fitted the grommet onto the screw-head before screwing the holder in place. Then with some effort (mostly due to my pudgy fingers), I was able to fit the endcaps back over the grommets which covered the screw heads. Frankly, I am not sure that was worth the effort since the roll of paper is generally going to obscure the screw heads anyway, but I got it done. I'm not sure the end-cap arrangement is a particularly great design, and I am not that confident they'll remain in place in the long run; only time will tell. If I could deduct half a star for that, I would. On the other hand, it's not a super big deal. I believe that the adhesive option would work best if you were mounting to a wood, vernier or laminated surface such as the side of a vanity. I'd be less confident of applying the adhesive to painted drywall and in that case, I'd recommend using heavy-duty wall anchors as I did. Overall, I'm delighted with the result. The holder does, in fact, accommodate a full jumbo roll of COSTCO TP plus we no longer have to fuss with a spindle and fitting that back into place, so it's a dramatic improvement for us.

the directions said it wouldn't stick to painted surface, we stuck it on a fibro painted wall and it is solidly secure,a nice unit, would recommend it.

This toilet paper is very easy to install. It has a little shelf that's perfect for a level. After that just mark holes, then drill and install screws. Done. The holder does not come with instructions so I had to check the screw size at Home Depot to find out what size pilot hole to drill. The screws are 3/4 inch #6 and require either a 9/64" or 3/32" drill bit to create the proper size pilot holes. I used 3/32 and it worked perfectly. Beyond that, the holder is sturdy works well and looks good. The little screw covers do tend to fall off very easily though. My only real issue with the product is that it came with the adhesive backing preinstalled. I think it was previously used and returned. I didn't want to use the adhesive backing so I scraped it off with a straight edge utility knife, sprayed the left over glue with Goo Gone and used a magic eraser to get down to the paint. After that everything was good and ready for installation.
