Didn't even last as long as the original hose. Bought in Dec. hose was ripping by Feb. The fit was perfect for the NV42 model but the poor quality is not worth the price, just duct tape your original, much cheaper fix!

This was not the like for like replacement part for the Shark NV400 part 1267FC400, but it worked just fine the hose end into the main body worked perfectly. The handle of the wand needed to be removed and discarded. The hose then fit into the wand fine. It is no problem to use it that way without the handle. Also it was half the cost. Worthwhile replacement and better than duct taping the broken hose.

I have a Shark Navigator vacuum that I have had for a few years now. Amazing vacuum I love it, so when the hose started cracking in different places from wear I was kind of devastated to buy a new one especially since with the hose breaking it was losing suction and not working at all.I checked the Shark vacuum website and this exact hose they sell but it's about $40 plus shipping. Looked this part up on Amazon and for $20 it is exactly the same. Picture of the new hose next to my old one that I tried to temporarily fix with tape until this one got here.It was basically plug-and-play and there is no installation required just unclip the old one and clip in this new one. my vacuum once again Works amazing and the suction has been returned, don't spend a ton of money on the actual shark website buy this one instead and save yourself $25!
