The hose was delivered quickly and the fit was perfect . Fixed the vacuum in about fifteen minutes and it works like new .

The product itself is fine, but the installation is a nightmare. The Shark Rocket vacuum is a fantastic vacuum, but the construction for hose replacement is so impossible that I gave up and just used duct tape over the cracks in the original hose. I will keep the replacement part just in case I find a strong man who can actually take the top off the sweeper part and put the new piece in. Really poor design for a part that should be replaceable.

Seemed high in price for the product you got but it did work well and easy installation

Cheap white plastic tube that doesn’t fit into the mating parts of the vacuum due to the lack of a wire and the wrong pitch. Tube is plastic, compared to the soft plastic of the original.

Most important it fits, but it’s a bit costly for a piece of plastic

Amazon keeps throwing this item up for review, but even after ordering it over a month ago, I have not used it. By all measurements, calipers in hand, it looks like this item is a replacement fit for the defective OEM hose, but frankly the duct tape fix has not worn out yet, so I haven't installed it. I'm not giving it 5 stars simply because I don't know for sure. When I use it, I'll come back here and update.

Pulling the head apart was most difficult. Watched a video before started and needed to purchase a set of security torx "L" wrenches locally to do the job. Ended up using a T-10 and a T-15 from the set to complete the task. The hose went in snug but didn't need any lubrication to get twisted in place. The video suggested using a lubricant on the pipe threading but I got it in without. Remember that the threads are reverse from the usual "righty tighty" you would use on most things. I believe both ends were opposite from that if I remember right. Vacuum sucks like it was brand new. Hopefully a few more years of service can be had. Used a drawn template to tape screws to to identify for reinstall. A few are different lengths and head sizes. Went back together fairly easy and the wife is happy.

It does the job but its a hard plastic and not as flexible as the original. Granted it does work, but not sure I would have bought it if I would have known it was a cheap plastic.
