These replacement hose extensions work better on my Dewalt DCV517B 1/2 gallon vac than repurposed genuine Bissell accessories. And using the 1-1/4” to 1-3/8” Portek adapters (available on the site for cheap), they also work with my Makita stick vac. They are lightweight, strong, and the taper is perfect on both ends making for a snug fit that’s also easy to release. The donated Bissell extensions I’d been using with my Dewalt vac always wriggled free whereas these did not. Enough said…other than CharlieP saying, GET THESE.

This extension is made of a hard plastic with thicker than normal walls so it feels durable. It functions well in theory and the two pieces attach with ease. Where it fails is if you try to fit it with any other extensions. I have two different brands of extension and this one either has a small end too small or a large end that is exactly the same size as the other extensions therefore without an adapter or more of this brand extensions you are not extending any further
