M8's snapped right into the 10 mm square holes in the aluminum chassis that came with my guitar amplifier kit, enabling me to secure it tightly to the wooden cabinet. It has hot, fragile glass vacuum tubes on top AND high voltage underneath/inside so I need to be *absolutely certain* it's not going anywhere. After carefully aligning with the orifice for proper penetration, I have full faith and confidence that my nuts will come through for me, no reservations. Go ahead - grab these nuts and don't look back!
