These emitters are not consistent, some put out the required amount and others barely trickle. Also some have a loud buzzing sound.

Both ends oof the dripper are barbed and no indication on as to which is out, therefore I put them on like my other dripheads, color side is barbed whereas the black side is smooth so, I installed the first 3 backwards; blowing the head apart on one of them. once installed correctly they seem alright. It's nice prior to connecting so one doesn't have to walk back and forth multiple times to repair an unknown goof.

I know these are high-throughput emitters, so I'm not that surprised, but they *launch* the water they pass. I mean, with the right angle, I can get the stream to land 8-10 feet from an emitter on the ground. Again, they are high throughput so I expect the water to do more than come dribbling out, but what I'm getting is pretty difficult to deal with. Consequently, they're not terribly useful for me, and unless your feed line is very low pressure, I can't recommend folks purchase these. On the plus side, they were cheap.

Used these (tried to use these) on small trees in our orchard garden. Way too noisy, and they seemed to vary in how much water each one emitted. Didn't waste my time testing their GPH since the noise factor was a disqualifier for use.
