Seller's small business packaging was awesome. With a "Thank You" and several cute stickers of gratitude for supporting a small business. I have used several other drippers on Amazon but they have not been 'accurate'. Today I received this 1/2 gal. per hour dripper and after a half hour it produced a half gallon as advertised. Very pleased!

I have rainbird drip irrigation systems all around my garden and love the flexibility of them and the ease of customization. I bought these for a pepper bed and while the half gallon size is perfect, of the 25 pack there were 4 that were defective and didn’t work at all. That’s kind of a high percentage of defective product given the price point.

Rainbird .5 gallon emitters aren't easy to find at a fair price in my area. These were well price and shipped quickly. Thanks!!

Replaced raindrip with those one. Feels way solid and flow seems to be more consistent for most of the emitters ( unlike raindrip ones) out of box.

We bought a new house and the backyard sprinkler system was broken beyond repair. Even with professional help, I was unable to locate the sprinkler valves for the back yard. So instead I set out to research and install my own drip irrigation to automate the watering process, mostly because I am way too lazy to water my backyard every other day. I chose the rainbird family of products because of the positive reviews and the plethora of options.I chose these particular drip emitters for the medium size trees and shrubs in my yard. I chose 1/2 in tubing for the systems backbone. Then 1/4 in tubing to run out to the individual plants, flowers, trees, shrubs... There are two ways you can install them. You can install them straight into the 1/2 in tubing, like I did. The other way is to install a 1/4 in coupler into the 1/2 in tubing, then run a 1/4 tube to the plant. Then connect the drip emitter at that end. I chose this configuration because some people complain about the water pressure pushing the emitter off the end of the tubing.+ Great price for a bag of them.+ Very easy to install them. Be sure to purchase and use the Rainbird special tool to punch the proper size hole in the tubing. Also use the Rainbird tool to insert the emitters into the tubing. I personally dislike special tools, but they are only a couple bucks each. I saved a ton of money by doing this project myself ($250 total cost), so to me it was worth it to get the specialized tools.+ Very happy with the performance so far.- Nothing thus far.I am very happy with the performance of these drip emitters so far. Some people have complained about them getting fouled with dirt. I don't expect to have that issue. Ill update this review as necessary.

I used these with Rain Bird 0.700 drip line. Even when over pressure at 45 psi these are running only 3.396 L/hr or 0.9 gal./hr.; Very Good with so much pressure. Keep in mind that these are non-PC emitters rated 0.5 gal./hr. at 15 psi so I was expecting closer to 1.5 gal./hr. That means they have a good measure of flow regulation for a non-PC emitter. After a bit of digging, I found that the flow through turbulent-flow emitters varies by the square-root of the pressure or, in my case, sqrt(45/15)*0.5 = 0.866 gal./hr.---almost perfect! With 25 psi my flow could be more like sqrt(25/15)*0.5 = 0.646 gallons/hr.These support piercing but I used an awl to pre-start the holes and there were no leaks with that method. I may use these with a gravity feed system and they are perfect since there is no minimum pressure (no compensation feature to interfere with operation). 25 of 25 worked perfectly so I'm ready to order more!

I couldn't go back to how I used to irrigate my plants (the spray emitters). These are great. I have 82 of these running to smart pots off of a 1/2" hose. Because the drip is slower there's less water waste... it really saturates the soil instead of running down the sides of my pots. Also, because it's half a gallon per hour you can easily fine tune exactly how much water your plant gets. I had a couple of clogs at the beginning, but simply pulling it off and blowing through each end seemed to fix it. Haven't had any issues after the first week of use.

I messed up by purchasing the knock-off version of these for pennies each and thats more than the were worth. After returning them I bought these and was able to install them quickly and effectively. I use the 1/2 gallon ones because I have a lot of plants. I just run the watering system for twice as long.

These are a bit confusing because the colored part is the part to attach to the hose (or at least I think it is!) versus the parts that came with the original kit have the black part as the part attaching to the hose. So I'm knocking off a point for that. They appear to be functioning properly otherwise though.
