I bought this tap because I needed to replace my Craftsman M5x0.5. I also wanted something with a hexagonal base that I would be able to insert into my magnetic handle. I am not exaggerating that I was only able to make two turns (cutting into 5032 aluminum) when the tap broke. This is by far the worst quality tap I ever worked with.

I love this thing. I use it for threading holes in 3D printed plastic parts. For this purpose its perfect. Much easier to grab this and slap it in a screwdriver handle than to mess around with a tap holder and a standard tap. Having it in a relatively long screwdriver handle also makes it easier to keep it straight versus a short T-handle. And since I'm only tapping plastic, the loss of T-handle leverage doesn't matter. Fit and finish is good, seems to be pretty decent quality.
