Your cart is empty. A split washer or a spring lock washer is a ring split at one point and bent into a helical shape. This causes the washer to exert a spring force between the fastener s head and the substrate, which maintains the washer hard against the substrate and the bolt thread hard against the nut or substrate thread, creating more friction and resistance to rotation.

These M8 is not as thick as my M8 original. I am not sure yet if it is going to work ok! Otherwise, it seems to be of good quality.

Probably fine, but since thinner they presumably wouldn't give as much locking force as the thicker washers.

Used these copper lock washers with stainless bolts and flat washers to add MEGA fuses to my Victron Lynx PowerIn. Item works well for that application.

I bought these for use on my solar power system. I needed copper split lock washer for use on my power distribution bus bar. These fit the description and I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up how really good they are. These are really worth the price and are perfect for electrical applications. I am sure they will work perfectly in other applications as well.These are copper high electrical conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance. I am very happy with them and highly recommend them for anyone looking for copper split lock washers. They are a great value and I give them 5 stars.
