Working Principle
When the electrical appliance works normally, the bimetallic sheet is in the free state and the contact is in the closed / open state. When the temperature reaches the operating temperature, the contact is opened / closed, and the circuit is cut / closed, so as to control the temperature. When the electric appliance cools to the reset temperature, the contact will automatically close / open and return to the normal working state.

Please Note
1.Do not collapse, loosen or deform the top of cover surface during installation to avoid affecting performance.

3.The thermostat should be stored in a warehouse with RH less than 90% and ambient temperature less than 40 ℃, which is ventilated, clean, dry.

Worked just great but suggest two things. 1. Add 1/4" behind the .063 mm on main screen. It's in the pictures and in write-up but having move visible would help. 2. With the same part number the Samsung microwave switch has 3/16" pins. Therefore, it would be helpful to have an option with 3/16" pins or better yet add 4 adapters to convert the 1/4" male pin to a 3/16" male pin. I cut my connectors off and added 1/4" female connectors to the wires. Most people would think of this easy conversion.Thank you for great parts delivered quickly by Amazon!!!!

I almost expected it to come with a cape.Now, let's talk about installation. The flange is apparently 'float'—I guess it dreams of being a boat someday? But hey, it was a breeze to install! It's like they knew some of us don’t have a PhD in Engineering.Applications? This thermostat has more uses than a Swiss Army knife at a DIY convention! From microwaves to heaters to water dispensers—this little wonder child can handle it all. Installation Note: These, KD301's, are screw down versions and will not work with coffee makers having retention clips where you will probably need KD302s. Important, make sure you also use a heatsink heat transfer high temperature silicon compound when installing. You will see the old residue on the heating element case for proper placement.

These fit my GE over the range microwave as described. Problem was there was a much bigger issue with the microwave beyond replacing this thermo fuse. At least it helped me troubleshoot the issue for a good price.

This is a switch that detects a possible grease fire in the stove vent under the microwave oven. In case of fire it kills main power to the whole unit, microwave, control panel, light, and power vent. If the whole unit is dead, check this switch. It is a fairly universal part. It took me a while to diagnose this one, it's tucked down at the bottom; I had to trace from the incoming AC wire to find it. This is probably the fifth time that I have resurrected this microwave, 2 diodes, 1 door switch, 1 magnetron, and this temp switch. All totaled a fraction of the cost of one replacement oven.

While the physical shape of this device is the same as that of my Samsung microwave part, the two connectors are not. One should be narrower than the other and therefore I had to file the sides of one connector down to match. So it's not an original OEM replacement but it seems to do the job of the broken one.
