I tore a piece of skin off my arm getting to close to my fence and the exposed bolt end. So put these covers on some of the bolt ends, much safer for me and everyone else. Works fine. You have to sort of put in on the end and then rotate it to go on almost as if you were screwing it on.

I was disappointed in the time it took to get these. But with great anticipation I was finally glad they arrived. Problem -heavy wire growing lattice with brutally sharp ends. These need to be covered for obvious reasons . Wire gauge is 5/16" dia. 5 mm. These are only 4.5m Recommendation is buy the caps 4.5mmSo they won't be to large. Wrong kids, too small. They will not stretch to fit.Answer,: order what you need and not what they recommend.Solution: I bought the size l needed and chucked these.

I use these with #3 rebar to mark landscape items. They work much better than those plastic flags on a small wire. Things I've marked with them: sprinkler valve and shutoff valve boxes, above ground sprinkler heads in ground cover, drip line end points, young tree and young bush seedlings, and flower bulb bed boundaries (prior to plants emerging).

I bought these to protect a plug for a solar panel. The panel is permanently mounted to a deck. The connectors coming off a panel are commonly mc4. They are waterproof, but hard to connect and disconnect repeatedly. So I put an mc4 to dc5521 converter cable off the panel, and leave it outside 24/7. These fit the 5521 male plugs prefectly. They slide on easily, and stay on. They fit smooth 55mm diameter studs or threaded. Now I can run my 5521 cable from the power station to the panel during the day, and disconnect them at night. No worry about a bare male plug outside, being subjected to humidity, frost or rain. Its covered.

The bright red 9.5mm rubber caps are nice. There's 50 pieces. Most are the same size - only a couple are shorter than the rest but that's OK since I needed to cut them to size if needed for my Rockshox rebound damper nut at the bottom of the fork. These 9.5mm fit the 10mm Rockshox red bottom rebound adjuster nut. I lot the adjuster key that goes in and under this nut. So, these rubber caps, when cut to the correct length of that nut provides some dust protection. I also measured a few of these caps. The inside diameter is from 9-9.23mm. Nothing to get too concerned about since it will or should bit any screws or rods that measure 9.5-10.5mm in diameter.
