Very short bouncy/ringing with longer closed period in the 200-500 us range ringing for about 500ms depending on how the sensor is tapped. Could not see with a slow meter but an oscilloscope or even led you can see how the thing looks. Most likely need a fast polling cycle or better an edge interrupt pin to capture the vibration.

I never done this low of review but first one the wire fell off number 2 did not work number 3 if you got hit by a car it might trip. So don't buy. Im sorry to give a bad review but I had to tell the truth. Jim

There are five basic models in this series, by this maker, each allegedly denoting a different sensitivity from SW-18010 through SW-18030, with "P" suffix denoting sealed types. But there is no useful info at all about what level of "G" force, impact amplitude/duration, or vibration amplitude/frequency is required to activate any of them. All that is given is that SW-18010 is the most sensitive and SW-18030 is the least.

Not sensitive enough to monitor laundry machine vibration for a home automation project. Useless.

A lot of times people use an accelerometer in "sleep mode" for this, but these use approximately 0 power in their non-active state. Get a pack of 'em.
