These seem fine, but are mildly magnetic. I used these stainless lock rings with hex head M4-0.7 x 16mm stainless bolts to replace the six bolts fastening my outboard's VST float tank. (Original Yamaha bolt PN 63P-14567-00-00, found on many four-stroke models.) The original Yamaha bolts are infamous for corroding and get very stuck - even if these corrode a bit, it's sure to be a vast improvement over the original.

I do not believe these are the 316 stainless they are advertised as. The reason?(The title gave it away didn't it?) Yes, I tested the magnetism of these, like I do with all stainless products I get. I have many types and these have more magnetism than the 304 M10 lock washers I have, they seem like they are a 400 series stainless to me. Being 316 SS, these should have very little, to no, magnetism. Yes, 304 and 316(basically all 300 series stainless steels) can have SOME magnetism due to being exposed to heat during the manufacturing process, however there is NO way these should have MORE than the 304 SS washers of the exact same size. Buyer beware.I may do a corrosion test to verify and if I do I will update this review. Thanks for reading.
