This is probably more sanitization than 99% of people need in their lives, but for me (running a pediatric practice), this is a game changer! I suppose it would also be great if you are immunocompromised.Set up is easy. It's plastic housing with 2 glass UV tubes installed in the center. 2 AAA batteries go in the remote, then you select 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes or 'On'. One can immediately begin smelling the ozone emitted. Even in a large room, it's intense after 5 or 10 minutes. They do state not to use it while the room is occupied, and to ventilate the room afterward, and I would heed that warning. As it stands, it feels that 15 minutes for small rooms and 30 minutes for larger rooms is sufficient.

I did not see or must have completely missed it in the description, but when I received this item, it stated that you cannot be in the room while this is running and that you must ventilate through them for at least 30 minutes afterward before going in there and that you’re supposed to do this multiple times a week That is very inconvenient and realistically not something that I will maintain therefore this is not a usable item for me

With concerns about germs and allergens always present, I decided to invest in a UV sanitizer, and I'm so glad I chose this one. This device has given me real peace of mind, knowing I'm taking proactive steps to keep my home clean and healthy. I placed in the downstairs family room and kitchen area (the busiest area of m home). From the moment I started using it, I noticed a difference in the air quality – it just feels fresher and cleaner. This UV sanitizer is incredibly easy to use. The four-speed timing options are fantastic, allowing me to customize the sanitizing cycle based on the room size and my needs. The remote control is a huge convenience – I can start and stop the sanitizing process without even having to enter the room, which is especially important with UV light. I appreciate the added safety feature.

I assume the bulb is what you're paying for here, because the rest of the lamp feels extremely cheap and wobbly in comparison. Even the remote feels sturdier than the stand.Seems to work well, but definitely leaves a noticeable ozone smell (as warned) in the room that can linger up to a half day depending on how well it's ventilated.

Pretty easy to set up and use. It made my teenagers room not smell like dirty socks so that's a plus. It works, but feels that it won't last for a long time as it's made out of pretty cheap plastic. I will update this if it doesn't last long.

Note: I only took away a star because I believe these types of products are totally overpriced, especially since it is basically just a cheap plastic lamp with a specialized bulb in it... However...This thing seems to work as described. I put it on our back bathroom for testing, only left it on for about 10 minuets and it smells completely different in the room.Assembly is pretty easy. put the bulb in, put the shroud on, ready to use.The remote is super simple to use, you can literally just push the button associated with the time you would like it to run, and it will come on.Value wise, if these things are as effective as everyone says, for just 100 bucks, as long as the thing works a while before needed a replacement bulb or anything, sure, this can be very valuable. My son is in his first year of school and has pretty much been sick since they started, meaning we have pretty much been sick about as much, smh... This, hopefully, can help us keep the house a little more sterilized and maybe prevent it from spreading as much.I can't scientifically test this thing, but from what I can tell, it seems to be working as described.Note that, I did think it could be brighter, however, I can't really tell as you have to use these glasses that come with it that blocks the light, so It is hard to really tell what I am seeing. And you have to vacate as soon as you cut it on.The build is not horrible, however, I do think it is a little fragile feeling. It is all plastic, so not a lot of confidence in the body if it hits the ground. But, at the end of the day, this thing seems fine and seems like it works as intended. I can update later if needed but I think this one is pretty straight forward other than longevity which is yet to be seen. As of right now, I would recommend it, just follow the directions.

After using the UV Light Sanitizer, it seems to work great overall. It definitely does its job of disinfecting, but you'll want to stay out of the room while it's running. I did a smell test while it was working just to check if it was doing its job, and there was definitely a strong ozone smell. I used the 60-minute timer, and about 30 minutes after it finished, I went in, quickly opened a window, and let the room air out for another 30 minutes. The smell cleared up pretty fast, but it's important to air out the room thoroughly before entering. So, while it works well, just be mindful of the ozone and ensure the room is properly ventilated afterward.
