These are not sticky enough, ive watched a number of gnats land on them and then fly off.

Works wonderfully! So many flies trapped over the first night. Really easy to peel. Very satisfied.

Great product. Been dealing with a TON of gnats since i brought my plants in for winter. I am using EVERYTHING... little uv lights fans, plug ins, and now these. In 1 day these already caught several throughout the house. Must have a smell to attract cause my cats went to it and kept getting stuck. They finally figured out to leave it alone.

I had a little gnat infestation in an overwatered indoor plant. I treated the plant but the little gnats stayed around for a bit. I placed these in the pot a few days last week and it collected a ton of little gnats. Now I don't see any flying around me in my office. The only reason I shorted this review a star is because the little part that goes into the dirt is pretty flimsy so you really have to work it into the soil, but easily, or it will bend.

Easy-peasy to use. Just open the package, remove the protective film on each side of the bug trap and poke it into the dirt. Gnats get caught quickly and the traps last for quite some time.

I was a bit skeptical at first wondering if these sticky traps would actually trap anything. Wow! It's incredible what you catch on these.I've caught so many gnats or fruit flies that otherwise I wouldn't have caught. I tried using various liquid traps with vinegar etc.. but in my opinion and with me trying them over and over, they absolutely did NOT work. These sticky traps are ingenious! They're affordable too! One suggestion for consumers, if would want to make them stretch longer and cover around your plant more (you might be down to your last few), you can cut them up the center from the bottom arrow that sticks into the ground all the way to the top where that hole in the center is. So your butterfly will look like it's been split in half as well as the other shape it comes with.I recommend that you also monitor how many bugs you have stuck on those shapes and if it's starting to look crowded please change them for some fresh ones. Doing this will also show you if the problem is dying down meaning the surface isn't being covered with them as much so maybe the critter problem is coming to an end OR it will show you if the sticky strips keep filling up you'll know that they're still hanging around like the unwelcome guests that they are. Also as I mentioned, they have that hole on the top so you could hang them versus staking them into soil. Either way you will be AMAZED at what you catch. Highly recommend. Love the bright yellow because it attracts them much like a bright light would.

I bought these to help with gnats on my plants in my office and at home. The flower shape is very sticky and has caught quite a few gnats. The butterfly shape is very slightly sticky. And the the Yoda shape is not sticky at all. So 1/3rd of them were a waste of money and ineffective and a second 1/3rd do not work well. I can't return them since I've already used some and started with the flower shape. Disappointing.

It needs a longer stronger base to stick in the ground.
