Scanning shows over 100 channels in the Houston area. Depending on weather conditions and location, I can tune in 5-10 that are actually watchable. The loop is a joke. But the rabbit ears do better. Setup is pretty straightforward.Strong stations come in well, weak stations... Unwatchable. But for the price, I'm happy! TV on the go! It's small and fits into my bag. Would definitely buy it again!

I use this with my android gaming device when I'm not at home to watch Suns games (they're broadcast for free in AZ). It's plug and play once you have the app installed. The channel search found most of my local channels, and the antennas they give you not terrible. One is short and just sticks out from it with a loop and works great outdoors (i.e. not much between you and the airwaves), while the other one has a chord and is a teensy tiny bunny ear setup that you can use indoors. No complaints at all!

Although my devices are OTG, the app does not recognize the device. Doesn't work.

This is a great little device as long as your expectations aren't too high as to what it can do. The most important thing to understand is that it needs strong TV signals to function. It comes with 2 antennas--one a small loop antenna that is more like a hand strap. I didn't have any success using this antenna. The other is a small antenna with telescoping arms and a longer cord. This antenna worked well for me with one exception. The antenna has no weight so the movement of the cord attached to it will flip it all over the place. You need to be able to anchor it down somehow.I'm in the Phoenix area where there a lots of over-the-air TV signals. I easily brought in dozens of channels. I didn't get as many as I do with the antenna I use for my TV but its certainly an acceptable number. I haven't tried a different antenna or the DVR function, but overall I'm pretty impressed with this little device.
