Plug n' play on this? Absolutely not. My laptop didn't recognize the device and when I went to the website (which is all HVAC stuff) it was hard to locate the cable information and nothing was mentioned about a driver, nor was there a FAQ. I absolutely do not recommend this purchase.

Does not support accessing firewire devices such as camcorders on a Macintosh. For me it was a waste of money.
