Super bright white color, but they get quite hot. I wish there were LEDs on both sides, you can't flip it over, so however the USB port is oriented determines where the light shines. I doubt the efficiency is very good because of how hot they get, but it gets the job done and is cheap. I wish there was a warmer light color version, it's blindingly white light.

Fun little usb lights that have many applications. Can handle up to 9V with close to an amp without popping so that is pretty cool (maybe not for extended use though). Quite bright for 3 LED's I keep blinding myself looking at them during testing.

looks like a thumb stick, but clear. Three light LEDs are very bright. It is available with five LEDs, but the 3 is enough for my usages.I build lamps from plumbing, and now I'm using this year glass insulators.Every thing is unique!I'm experimenting with USB wiring and lighting.

These are bright little buggers. They can turn a phone charge into a flashlight/torch. Use those extra usb adapters you have laying around. The only negative is that they do get pretty warm.

I bought these primarily to plug into power banks (The one pictures is 2500 mah) for use during power blackouts. It should be noted that while these are bright enough to read a book by, they are uni-directional in their focus., although you do get an ambient "omni-directional" glow around them. Here in Florida thunderstorms are frequent during parts of the years and a power loss can last minutes to weeks depending on the severity. They will be handed out to the kids for comfort, restroom use, etc. during said blackouts.I can think of dozens of uses for these lights from camping to emergency kits to lifeboat applications.

Fairly quick on shipping. I like the clear plastic cover/keychain idea. I drilled a hole in the end of each cap end and inserted a string and knotted it, then ran it through the loop on the body so the cap can’t get lost. These are bright little beggars! If you are looking for an easy and lightweight option to hang on your powerbank or in your car, these are them. Not really built as an everyday use light since there is no way to bleed off heat from that case. So it gets a bit toasty. Heat is the #2 killer of LED’s. But as an emergency light on a keychain or in a purse. This is a fine light.

I got these so I could plug into my power banks at need if I needed light. Also I like LED things. They seem bright enough if you want light in a dark room, and certainly if I want light to read by. I got a USB tester that indicates they run at 5 volts and draw about 260-280 mA. Call it 90 mA per LED or 270 mA. The stick should draw about 1.4 watts. The LED stick size seems pretty handy and the only thing that I might caution anyone is that the LED circuit board can slide a bit in the plastic housing when disconnecting the stick from a USB portal. Something to be aware of.Looks good. Right now I am pretty happy with this.ETA: I tried running the LED stick for a while and it did get noticeably warm but not hot. I will have to try for a longer period to see if it gets warmer/hotter. It appears that the current for the 3 LEDs is likely about 100 mA or 33 mA per LED. I am still pretty happy with this device.ETA2: Let one run for about 2 hours. In my opinion, the plastic case did get very warm but not so warm that it could not be easily handled. The USB part might feel hotter being metal not plastic but not too hot. Still happy.
