I regret not trying this light sooner. I bought it maybe four or five years ago (in 2020 or 2021), charged it, and never used it since. I’ve accidentally tapped it on while moving things around in my bookbag, but never actually used it to do what I bought it for as I am no longer in the same environment I used to study in. Last night, I stayed up until about 3:20 AM doing homework, and then today got up after four hours of sleep to finish my assignment. I don’t feel like turning on the ceiling light, but I need some light to read my textbook more easily. I pulled out this wand light, put it between my mouse and my book stand, and turned it on. After all these years, it still has a charge and puts out the perfect amount of light. I love this thing. It’s just small enough to fit in to my backpack and just big enough to give me sufficient reading light. It does not have any moving parts so I don’t have to worry about anything breaking off like previous lights I’ve bought. I also love that it weighs almost nothing. When packed into my bookbag with all my books, my cord pouch, and my laptop it takes up barely any space. And I like that it matches my laptop and it was so inexpensive. I highly recommend buying this wand light.

I got one of these Akiio Waterproof LED Sticks as a present for my wife. She liked it very much. It worked fine. We have not yet had time to check things like battery life, but it appears to be a good product and works well now. Her three sisters will also be ordering several of these items and my wife asked for several more herself. Unfortunately, we then had a bad experience. The new order was cancelled by the vendor with no explanation. Yet they are still available for purchase and I was able to place another order. So why did they cancel my order? Why no explanation? Why were they even allowed to cancel the 2nd order even though they were still available (and should have been anyway since they were available)? Until I get a suitable explanation, my rating is one star. Will my order be cancelled again with no explanation?

Love this wand! It's my new go-to for light painting, indoors and out. The black exterior makes it invisible to the camera, and it's highly adjustable-- tap to change the color from white to yellow-ish and hold to make it brighter/softer. I've used it on buildings outdoors with great success, and I also use it for soft reflections on glass bottles for still life images. The rechargeable battery is great too. My only "complaint" is that there isn't a dial or something to achieve specific settings, so you have to "eyeball it." But that's a small complaint-- super happy with my purchase!

Beautiful design! But honestly not a powerful flashlight. Great for reading and having for the kiddos running around a campground or something along those lines.I do own 2. And would be great as a gift! But would still recommend a more powerful flashlight for jobs around d the house and blackouts.

Pro's Seems to be well made Easy to recharge and charged in less than an hour Stand and magnet holder were decentCons The photo's in the description are misleading. On the brightest setting this barely lights up 5 to 6 feet dimly, I have seen nightlights brighter than this.One con but you buy this for a light that is bright enough to use around a dark house, tent or changing a flat tire. I found it hard to read a book with out it being no more than 3 feet away.

This light is quite soft! I’m a wedding videographer and this thing stays in my bag all the time. Other cheap lights close to this size and portability don’t come close to this thing. Not insanely buttery soft but for the size it doesn’t get much better. It’s bright so bounce it off a wall close to your subject. The little round stand is nice for fill light or moody lighting if you have a dark background. Useful! Also the magnetic attachment is great for some more mounting options (an adhesive with a flat metal piece also comes with it Incase you need a THIRD mounting option.) It comes with a little rubber piece that stays tight so no water gets in which is pretty cool. The light is made out of decent material but mainly aluminum. The touch controls are absolutely incredible and easy to use on top. Well done. I’m probably going to get a few more cuz you can beat these up. I would recommend 10/10. Haven’t fully tested flickering but it’s looking great at shutter speeds 1/50, 1/60, 1/125 and 1/250. I wish there was a battery I could swap out instead of the built in rechargeable one but considering it’s a closet light I’m using I will take it.

This is such a weirdly useful light. I am bringing it traveling and it fits perfectly in my backpack or suitcase. I love that it has a white light and yellow light that can be dimmed or made brighter as well as the flashing emergency light. Wish it had a standard USB connection for charging through because it's another cable I have to bring. I've also been using the light at home for photography to give my items the right lighting. Not bad
