this is a great solution when you need to plug in multiple products . it just plugs in to a usb port and works it should! i can plug in additional hard drives or interfaces they all work great .It feels well built and well designed and for the money is a great find . its also very light and just fits in my bag with no issues. being a 3.0 usb hub , it also allows the 3.0 products to work fast and with the power they need.

I was very skeptical of this USB hub after reading all the glowing reviews and noting that the price was about 1/4 of anything similar. But, I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it is great. I love the feature of the buttons that you can turn individual usb ports on and off. This is super helpful for me as I have some devices that I want to leave plugged in but not necessarily powered on. Some other reviewers mentioned that the red lights showing the power is on are very bright, so I just pre-emptively put a narrow strip of wire harness cloth tape over the lights and I can still see when they are on, but they aren't very bright. Definitely a good product that works well and is a great value compared to other options. I did not find it to be flimsy at all. A strip of alien tape on the bottom, and it attaches to your desk and won't slide around.

Works great and much less expensive than many others. Compact size makes it easy to place. I put mine on the top of my computer in the back, right behind the bass speaker. It's completely out of sight, but easy to plug in to. All the switches work and on/off is very easy. All of my USB cables plugged right in with zero problems. 7 ports is a big help!

Pros:* Good price for a 7-port USB hub* All 7 ports work and USB ports are tight so cables don't fall out* Each port has it's own power switch which is very useful for items you don't want active all the time* The cord is nice and long to allow for easy placement of the hub.Cons:* The lights are excessively and blindingly bright. Having only one or two ports active will light up a darkened room.* The hub feels very fragile. When you plug in a flash drive the entire hub flexes. I'm not sure how long it will last if you have to plug items in frequently.Overall, I am happy with the hub. All of the ports work flawlessly and the hub is plug and play. I really like the length of the cord and the individual power switch for each hub. I'm not crazy about how bright the lights are but that is easily addressed by placing a piece of painters tape or those electronic dimming stickers on them. I won't be unplugging drives frequently so I hope it lasts a while. So far it has worked flawlessly so I recommend.

The ONFINIO 7-Port USB Hub 3.0 is a very handy unit to have if you need to plug in a lot of USB items to your PC/Laptop that has limited available ports. I have 4 external drives plus a dongle for my mouse/keyboard plugged in to my PC. I also, at times, need to plug in a Thumb Drive or other peripherals.The Hub comes nicely packaged and is "plug and play". Plug it in to an available USB port to turn that one port into SEVEN!This unit makes it simple to expand the capacity without constantly having to reach the rear of the PC to unplug and re-plug these various pieces of hardware. Also, each port can be powered OFF when not needed. It lets me connect several USB devices to my desktop, which is good. Everything works well. It’s compact enough to stay out of the way. Seems to be durable enough to hold up to repeated cable connections.My only complaint if I had one is devices do not charge quickly.

As a retired EE who has uploaded hundreds (maybe thousands) of code images to target boards over the years, (but continues to develop new products at my home), this is the first time I've been "USB limited" by my workstation. The individual ON and OFF buttons on this device are extremely useful when programming multiple units from a single IDE. I can leave the target unit ON and the others OFF, whether I'm programming, debugging, or running separate third-party serial monitors like Tera Term.This setup is so much easier than repeatedly plugging and unplugging USB cables while developing code. It's a real time-saver and significantly reduces wear and tear on both the cables and ports.I've just ordered another one for my notebook computer. While these are a bit bulkier than some of the more compact units out there, I don't mind at all. Having a push-on/push-off switch for each USB port is incredibly handy. I can leave up to 7 units physically connected and easily "steer" the USB connection to whichever unit I need with the press of a button—no more juggling cables.Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended for anyone managing multiple USB-connected devices!
