I used 3 different USB-C HUB's w/o external power and my laptop battery (fully charged) would drain completely after 4 days with power off. Just a heads up, you will need to disconnect the HUB from your laptop when power is off. Highly recommend using a USB-C Adapter in conjunction with this HUB in order to save wear and tear on your laptop port.Yes, I would buy it again.

It does what it's supposed to. My new laptop didn't come with an HDMI to connect my monitor. This was a reasonably priced alternative, and since my laptop only has one USB port that I use to plug in the keyboard, it is nice to have extra USB ports to connect other devices.

I picked up this adapter for the rare occasions that I need to plug in "type A" USB3 devices into my MacBook. It works great, with no drivers necessary. My MacBook has an SD card reader built in so I don't use the slot on this adapter, but it's nice to have for computers that don't have a slot (like the MacBook Air). it has a nice solid-feeling metal enclosure that feels well built. Its slim profile would slip easily into any laptop bag.

No video output from the HDMI. The package says 24 technical support , but where ??? No details and Amazon just gives the option to return ...Update - after this review the seller contacted me and offered a replacement. I'll update if it worksUpdate - replacement works fine. I can't give it 5 stars as the original failed !

Needed a way to hook my cell into my monitor (42" TV) at work to show safety videos (and maybe the occasional YouTube video). This did the trick. Much easier than trying to connect wirelessly. Haven't used any of the other ports but it is nice to know they are there especially the USB port. Seems very well built and the plug ends don't feel cheap so should hold up to repeat use. Handy little device that solved a problem.

I recently got my hands on this compact USB hub, and I must say, it's a nifty little gadget that has come in handy more times than I thought it would. ⚙️ The multiple USB-A ports are a lifesaver when you're dealing with older devices or need to connect your keyboard and mouse simultaneously to your laptop, especially since newer laptops seem to have fewer ports these days. 💻Plug and play functionality is spot on; just plug it in, and it works like a charm without any complicated setups. 🙌 It's great for when I'm on the go and need to transfer files quickly or use external devices. I bought this to connect my laptop to a monitor in my office. The HDMI port connection was wonky from the start - it would only connect at a certain angle, but given the hub was just gonna stay in my office all the time, I didn't think it was a big enough problem to worry about it. However, yesterday the HDMI connection stopped working entirely. No matter what angle I hold the hub at nor how I jiggle or insert the HDMI cord, my monitor says there's no connection. However, I know it's not the HDMI cord, the monitor, or my laptop itself because the other hub I have from a different brand works perfectly fine with all three items. This is disappointing to say the least. The USB-C port on the hub worked fine, but I didn't try any of the other ones and what I really needed it for was the HDMI port so I can't personally recommend this product. Maybe mine's defective, though, so your milage may vary.
