I bought this to use with Multitracks and it works great, it splits the click and guide to left and all the other tracks to right. I'm using it with an iphone.

I am a recording engineer who never records to a computer (I use a dedicated audio recorder instead) but I mix with a computer so I do need a DAC. There are many USB audio interfaces that I could use, but the ADC side is superfluous. This gives me just what I want.I like that the balanced output is XLR rather than 1/4" TRS. That way I can use a microphone cable (which I have many) to connect to speakers rather than having to find a 1/4" TRS to XLR cable. I do a lot of locations recording, so not having to pack (or forget to pack) a special cable is a good thing. This thing sounds just fine. Haven't had it long enough to assess its reliability. It "only" works at 32k or 44.1k or 48k. That's fine, I record at 44.1k since I don't know of any human that can hear above 22kHz. It's good that it can play back at 48k since that's the standard for video.I would prefer that the headphone output was 1/4" rather than 1/8" (3.5mm), but that's not a big deal.Simple to use; plug it in and it works. The output control has detents but it is not a stepped control; just a pot with detents. Kinda an affectation, but it doesn't hurt anything. I like the big knob.I like these little ART boxes. They're small and light and the all metal case is rugged.I was able to buy this as "Used Like New" for a really good price, about 1/2 the new price. I'm happy.

This DAC is great! I upgraded from a cheaper alternative when I started getting weird electrical interference between my computer equipment and studio monitors. The previous DAC was unbalanced and did not have isolation transformers or ground lift. Immediately after plugging this in, my signal was much quieter, but I still had a bit of interference. The ground lift eliminated all remaining noise. This little box packs a lot of features at a reasonable price! Great for any home recording studio, DJ, etc.

This device works great on Mac. It's simply plug and play, and the sound quality is phenomenal.I use two, one in a studio setting (straight to speakers) and one in a church live production setting (to a sound board). In both cases the connection and quality has been rock solid. The Preamps are very clean, and the volume knob is very useful. It also has a 'fixed' mode that turns off the nob so that it's not accidentally bumped.I do not know that I would call this 'professional grade', but for the price, this is an incredible value.

This thing works, gives you XLR outputs from your computer USB port. Super quiet and easy to use. Small size is good too.

Generally this works as advertised, but every few days I will hear a pop and then the sound becomes slightly distorted. Power-cycling makes it go away. Other than that it's fine.

Works amazing! Very thrilled with this purchase for transferring pc audio to my x32 mixer. You May want xlr- 1/4” adapters if you want to go into an Aux slot not a local Input. Amazing gear and much cheaper than the Radial option.
