I BOUGHT THIS FOR A CLASS AND WAS VERY SURPRISED IT WORKED WHEN I PLUGGED IT IN! SOUND QUALITY IS GOOD, NO DISTORTION IN THE SOUND. AND COMPACT, WHICH I LIKE. GOOD PRICE, SIMPLE STYLE. WOULD BUY AGAIN.

I ordered this computer speaker to be hooked up to my "frequency plate." As per the video on their website. The frequency plate did NOT have a PLUG for the speaker, so I had to return them BOTH!! The speaker was a good one, LARGER than what I expected, the price was AWESOME!! I didn't hook it up, because, there is NO plug on my frequency plate. If I had use for it, I would've kept it, cause it really looks like one I would like.

I needed a speaker for my desktop that wasn't expensive. This item was perfect, easy to setup, and it works like a charm.

Chromebooks are notorious for having awful speakers and sound. This little speaker is very good, now I can hear what I'm watching. Plug and play, simple connection plus a USB adapter. Clear sound. I don't know how long it will last but I feel it is worth the money.

I bought this to replace old speakers that had to be plugged into the wall and then into the laptop. This is so much nicer. The speaker plugs into the laptop with one cord and doesn't need an outside source of power which means I can take it with me and use it without being tethered to a wall outlet. It also means fewer cords to wrangle. The sound quality is very good. It is simple to operate. I am highly satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

I required a small simple desktop speaker connected to my computer whilst watching and listening to football, YouTube, radio, etc. For music I generally stick to using my headphones. It does exactly what I read in the description and its been perfect for my needs without any problems or hassle.

I had this amazing set of surround-sound Bose speakers, connected to a huge Bose sub-woofer, for a large screened monitor for watching TV and movies. The Bose sound system worked great for about 10 years, and yesterday, suddenly, it committed suicide (I was watching World News at the time, draw your own conclusions from that).I will be replacing the system with something rather equivalent in quality but in the mean time I needed to do something if I wanted to be able to continue watching on the giant monitor. I set out to find an inexpensive speaker that I could place close to my head (where I generally sit and watch movies), as a substitute until the new system is in place. The reason that I'm writing this review, is I am amazed at the quality of this little $10 speaker. It is certainly not what I had before and was never intended to be, but as a quick fix in a pinch, I have to say it is surprisingly good!I Placed my order and purchased this little speaker yesterday evening, and I have it in my hands, in less than 24 hours. Prime shipping made it free, and it arrived well packaged.Admittedly, I was not expecting much, especially for the price point, and the fact that it was a singular speaker, add that to the fact that I had been spoiled by my high-end sound system. No, I was not expecting much. (Humorous side note, although this speaker is in fact $10 on Amazon, directly next to the price on the product page, in parentheses, it says...$5 item. I guess we are aware of the markup now).How pleasantly surprised I am at the sound quality of this little replacement speaker. It has a rather deep and rich bass sound, which I am surprised about and its volume is such that I cannot keep it close to my head at full volume as it is too loud. For what it is, it does an excellent job. I am certain that on vacations, because it is in fact so small, I will take it with me and plug it into my laptop when watching videos or movies while away. All in all, I am really pleased with this product and very surprised at the quality considering the price point.Oh... One other point I should not neglect mentioning, the unit is powered via USB and the manufacturer includes a Free USB-C to USB adapter (this would be necessary for example if you are utilizing Apple products which I happen to be doing. Nice little bonus to include the adapter for free)If you need a strong little inexpensive speaker, that is simply plug and play, I definitely recommend picking up one of these, i'm quite pleased with my purchase.
