Decent kit- working fine so far in my 8.6" GM rear end. Hopefully lasts me many more years. Didn't use the gasket- bought a new cover and it came with a much higher quality gasket. Bearings fit and seem good.

Fit my 01' Suburban fine. The nut is a lock nut. It has a stake mark on one of the flat spots. Keep in mind that there aren't any shims or axle seals. Enjoy

This kit lists to fit my 2003 S10 ZR2 rear differential, which is an 8.625" differential. It does not. The carrier bearings were too big (ID and OD) as was the Pinion seal (ID was too big). Unfortunately, we did not realize this until after we had installed the inner and outer pinion bearings and crush sleeve. I am not happy that I spent over $60 for this kit and still had to go to my local parts house and buy carrier bearings, races and a pinion seal.

This is a great budget installation kit. The KOYO bearings are probably not quite as good as Timken, bbut for a budget kit they are great. The shims in the USA Standard kits are much better than other kits.
