I want to leave this review for people having the same issue I struggled with!! The OEM fan clutch on my 2014 ram 1500 Hemi intermittently would always be engaged till the point where it was engaged at all times. Took it to a shop that told me it was functioning fine… I knew it wasn’t because it was so loud it sounded like it was going to take off. Sounds like a roaring lion, couldn’t even hear the engine. So I decided to deal with the issue myself. Started with a new fan clutch from an auto parts store, after installing it was making the same sound. I told the auto parts store the part seemed to not disengage and was really loud… basically the same problem. They told me that I probably had another problem other than the fan clutch… I told them to let me exchange it for another one so they did… after installing the second fan the clutch it was the same problem! I decided ok I guess I’m just going to have to live with it. However it’s embarrassing and so loud it sounds like a dump truck so I kept researching till I found a thread linking me to this fan clutch and I’m so happy it did! I installed this new fan clutch that was half the price and instantly all my problems were solved!!! It’s quit and I can once again drive my truck and hear that powerful engine! I’m very happy with my decision to give it another go! Now I haven’t put many miles at all on this new one so only time will tell if it’s a quality part, but I will update if I have any issues. I hope this helps someone else!

My husband combed through reviews and decided on this for his 2016 dodge 1500 and it worked great. He said he would buy it again. Even more it was cheaper, better shipping options, and the brand was better than some.

Part looks like it was used. Hardware bag is open instructions are all dirty and there is stuff inside the fan clutch threads

Just what I needed. I had rising temps while idle. I changed the thermostat and coolant still had rising temps. Replaced the fan clutch with this one boom problem solved.

I had a weekend road trip planned, so I rush-ordered this for my 2014 Ram. Made the repair in 30 minutes! Exact fit. It comes with four, new, 10 millimeter bolts, but no lock washers. The directions tell you to re-use the factory washers from the old bolts. The factory washers are not removable, so I had to use lock washers from my personal inventory. I recommend this for anyone needing a replacement on a 4th generation hemi engine. Please note that the large mounting nut is LEFT-HAND threads!! Remove your old, faulty clutch by rotating it clockwise, when looking at the front of the engine.
