We purchased this desk and then ordered a second because the first was so poorly made. The second was almost worse. Don't order this if you want the drawer. Both of ours were unusable because the rails that the drawer slides on are not installed correctly so the drawer slides off of them. On our second desk the wood was split where they had pounded in a nail. It's too bad because the desk is exactly what we wanted (and we wanted a drawer) but no one is doing quality control.

This is a good size for tabletop use and is very sturdy. Just what I was looking for. I've bought a few versions of portable easles as gifts over the years and decided I'd like to have one for myself. (I didn't expect much) This one has been the best of the bunch in terms of size and function.

Such a great art desk for the money. Bought as a gift and it's held up nicely. The drawer is not huge but just enough to store essentials likes pencils and markers.

The drawer was very loose. There was too much space in the grooves. I had to add another layer of wood pieces to make the drawer fit more tightly. I also wish it had a locking feature for the board and a handle to use when carrying it. After I fixed the drawer I really like it more and fits my needs. Once I put a lock and handle of some kind on it, I will love it!!! Just wasn't planning to put time and cost into making it exactly what I was hoping for.

My daughter loves it and it works great. It's everything she wanted for painting and drawing. It arrived with a broken drawer but my husband glued it back to working order. Solid build other than that.

I think this is a great idea. I just got mine. The problem(s) I had/have are craftsmanship related. The t square is not perfect I had to sand it a bit. The actual drawing surface could have been sanded more. Its not exactly flat. The pencil ledge wasnt perfectly positioned and was fastened slightly to the left which got in the way of the t-square. One of the dovetails imediately came apart as soon as I got it. Wasnt glued? A drill hole was off on the hinge between to the 2 main pieces which affected how the bar sat in one of the grooves and created a wobble. I fixed what I could.
