Very nice tabletop stand. Good selection of angles, and the board stays in place securely. Wipes clean fairly easily if you feel the need. Solid wood.

First, I've purchased this this primarily as a reading stand for larger art books, so I have not yet used it as an easel. When I do use it as an easel for drawing or calligraphy, I will likely put down some paper as a cushion to ensure a perfectly smooth surface – but I would do that anyway, with any other easel of this kind.Having said that, this easel is very well made, it's very stable and doesn't tilt or wobble on my reading desk, and has a flat, level surface. The larger size is perfect for my purposes, both as a reading stand and an easel. The adjustable support bar means that it can be angled in five different positions from almost vertical to almost horizontal, and since it's a very simple design (I like simple!) there's not much that can go wrong. The item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. So, overall, I'm very pleased with this easel and am happy I purchased it.

I use this table top easel to get a better view of my paper when I’m drawing the easel has multiple levels so that I can draw up to 90°. It is very sturdy. I have put my elbows on it and leaned forward while I’m drawing. It is also portable if you’re moving from one workspace to another, but it is quite large so be aware. because of its size it was hard for me to find a place to store it. overall, I’d say it’s worth the price if you’re going to be making artwork on larger canvases, and papers.

I use it for watercolor. Sets to a perfect angle. Big enough for half-imperial sheet (15" x 22"). Solid, nice finish. Very good buy!

This drafting table is really nice, not much to say but it does its job well! Definitely takes a little getting used to drawing on a slope but I got used to it pretty fast. Plus it's better for your posture instead of being hunched over. When I'm done I can just put it with my canvasses and other stuff against the wall, it stores and puts away well. It also holds my plastic watercolor palettes/gouache palettes super well on the ledge, and watercolor blocks. Definitely the best for the price and size. Others complained of a smell, I mostly just smelled a kinda woody smell but it went away pretty quick after taking it out of the box - although, there was a bad hole in the box from bad shipping handling I suppose, so maybe it aired out then. It's super light yet sturdy, just be careful when you move it that you don't slam it into anything.Only problem was the box was damaged upon arrival, but it didn't damage the drafting desktop thankfully.

I place a second sheet between my drawing surface and illustration board to protect the surface of the board. It will need some touch ups to keep it from falling apart down the road ; however it is very sturdy and does not move around with the foot stoppers they attached to it. I keep mine in the second or third slotted position with a head lamp hanging right over it. I have it placed on top my chesterdraw to paint and draw standing up. The dimensions were just perfect for it. Thanks So Ho Urban.----- The happy artist.--- :)

Overall an ok drawing board. The board is sturdy enough for drawing on and is very useable. It is made of cheap materials and the top surface is not exactly the best. Make sure you use some form of thick drawing paper or the surface wood frain may come through. The wood is a thin board which is sandwiching some support beams. This is sufficient but I question the durability. As far as the support is concerned it works well but has limited options for the angle. The angles the manufacturer has chosen are a good choice but if you need fine adjustment this is not the product for you. The support is screwed int9 the sides of the drawing board supports and is kept together with a cery rough dowel (like splinter rough). It works but is a really cheap solution that will break over time.The viggest con is the smell. This thing outgasses some nasty smelling solvent/glue. I had to leave it outside for a few days for it to dry out and cure. I then had all the windows open so that I wasn't breathing the fumes too much. With windows closed Imwould definitely get a headache!! Be warned if you are asthmatic or have bronchial or allergy issues. I's say let it vent outside the box for a week if possible.So with all of that said, it's actually a reasonable product for the price.
