I like the size of the sketch book. The paper quality is perfect- it’s thick so no bleed through. It has very little texture- enough that it’s noticeable but not enough that it interferes with my drawing. I use fine tip felt pens and it is smooth enough for them to glide perfectly.My only complaint is the perforations- I appreciate them! But also if you are like me and constantly flipping back and forth they start to separate on their own. Better for people who don’t constantly go back to previous pages and flip through a lot.

These are wonderful. Perect size to carry around. I have done neurographic art. I have used pencils , wat e colors and acrylics. Love the perforated sheets..

These books work so great for a multitude of art media. So far I have used this for ink, watercolor and just pencil with absolutely great results. I love these books.

The mixed media paper pads are very useful both for sketching-out tricky parts of larger works but also trying alternatives when painting those same tricky parts. I am also teaching my grand daughter to paint and the 2 pack gives us each a pad with which to work. The spiral workbook to keep her work in a convenient place, and enables her to look back at her work as her ideas develop. I have purchased these pads several time and they work well for me.

I purchased those to use with watercolor but I find it's horrible with this medium! I don't like the texture, even for drawing with pencils, markers or pens... The paper rapidly disintegrates and leaves tiny paper "rolls" or "bits" (I don't know how to name it!), and it doesn't stay flat even with just a little water.Maybe some people appreciate it but I clearly don't understand what could be appreciated in this kind of paper...

Although I had to return for a larger size, The quality of this notebook is wonderful. The weight of the paper is perfect for a variety of art techniques - pen, pencil light watercolor, and acrylics. I am sure it would also work with oils - although that isn't my desired usage. The large coil binding allows ease of turning the pages.
